Y/N

"... Y/N." I responded hesitantly, I noted he had to be the same age as Sasuke but I had never seen this man before so I was a bit skeptical.

"Y/N," He nodded with a smirk. "Itachi's wife."

I scoffed and crossed my arms. "Debatable. Why are you in Obito's office?"

He snickered. "Touchy subject, got it. Don't worry, I won't say that again and if anyone that you don't want saying it does, I'll teach you one of 397 ways to kill them."

My face scrunched up in confusion, I could tell he was a hundred percent serious because his smile turned feral. Who knew smiles could look like that?

What I didn't expect was the same smile to completely transform his face nor was I expecting that reply.

Unaware or maybe he just didn't care about my emotional dilemma he spoke before I did. "No wait, 398."

Having absolutely no idea how to respond to that, I settled on: "..... Thank you."

Because you thank a person for wanting to teach you that, right?

"No problem. So.. Let's start with number one." He clapped before turning around for a bag and humming. "Come on," He nodded his head towards the door. "Let's go."

Mentally shaking myself out of my stupor, I scoffed. "I'm not going anywhere with you until you explain what the fuck you're doing here and who you are."

He nodded seriously. "Good," I glared at him until that insufferable smile overtook his face again. Honestly who smiles this much? No one is that happy. "I'm Obito's number two. Though, some would argue I know more than him but he has more control than I do so," He shrugged. "He's in charge."

"Why haven't I seen you?"

"Because if you do, that'll be the last thing you see."

I scoffed. "Cocky."

"No," He held open the door. "If I just started, i'd be cocky but i've been doing this a long time. My reputation precedes me."

Curious enough to follow, I walked out the door and waited until he was next to me before I spoke. "Reputation?"

He hummed but didn't say anything until we were in the elevator going down to the parking garage. "Ever heard of Caedes?"

My head whipped to him, everyone has heard of that name and the dark stories that surrounded it. But him? Really? "No way."

He smiled big and I gulped, the light in his eyes dimmed to the point his bright blue eyes were the color of a raging ocean under a thunderstorm. "Yes way." He whispered.

Okay, creepy.

I was smart enough to believe him and stupid enough to speak. "Teach me." I breathed out, excitement filling me to the brim, I was practically overflowing with it.

He winked, a little bit of light coming back into his eyes; like he was matching my excitement. "That's the plan."

Hours later, I looked at Naruto bored because we have done nothing but talk. I'll be honest, I think he knew me almost as much as Itachi does. "Narutooooo." I groaned out and he snickered.

I think we've reached the point where I could call him my best friend. The amount of information I shared and him in return was a surprise.

"Patience. The best way for you to retain things is to have a personal connection with the one teaching you things. You're more receptive of everything if it comes from a person you trust."
