Jimmy smiled upon seeing Joel's message. He was so grateful he wanted to work things out.

He was sick and tired of the voice trying to get him to kill again. He was done with being afraid to talk to his fellow server members. He just wanted to be friends with them all again.

<SolidarityGaming>Meet you at Stratos?
<Smallishbeans>Sure. See you there. I'll be waiting at upper Stratos.

And something about him just being willing to meet with Jimmy. About how he was able to wait for him so they could talk, despite their previous interactions, especially their last one face to face. It made Jimmy smile, and his heart felt...warm...almost. It was nice, that they were going to be able to talk again.

He flew into the air, heading in the direction of Stratos to meet up with Joel, ignoring the quiet buzz playing in the back of his mind.

A while of flying later, he could have taken the nether route to get there quicker, but he was still trying to process all the feelings at getting to talk to his friend again, so he needed the extra flight time, he landed at Upper Stratos.

"Jimmy!" He landed and smiled when he heard the god call his name

"Hey Joel!"

Jimmy couldn't help but notice the distance between them, and winced internally at the realisation the God was still afraid of him. But he shook his head and put that aside for the time being. He didn't need to think about that right then, right then Joel was able to speak to and see him. That was enough for him in the moment.

"Uhm- I guess I should start by apologizing again. I still feel sick thinking about what I did. I didn't bring my gun with me in case you're wondering," the blonde paused to show the taller his empty gun holster, "I'll be honest I don't really know what happened. I'm just so, so sorry Joel. I'm honestly both shocked and grateful that you're willing to talk to me right now."

He'd been observing Joel's facial expressions and reactions as he spoke, he was definitely still on edge, but he had relaxed when he saw Jimmy didn't have his gun, and he looked almost guilty when said man was apologising. But he also looked like he was hiding something, especially when he'd mentioned he didn't know what happened.

"Jimmy. I'll be honest, it was a shock to me when you did...that. But I'm willing to accept your apology."

The shorter of the pair brightened and took one small, hazardous, step forward. He didn't miss the way one of the god's feet stumbled backwards for a second before returning to it's original position, but he pretended that he hadn't seen that and didn't let his smile waver.

"You know Scott came and talked to me. He told me how much I messed you up. I felt worse after that. I was shocked at how much I'd done to you through a death. I know that obviously killing people and dying and all that can always be a bit shocking anyway, but on a server it isn't too uncommon. But still, for some reason I didn't think it would hurt you as much as it did. I guess part of it might be because you're y'know, an 11 foot God. And...I was so swept up in how it affected me I didn't think to reach out to you and see how you were."

Joel stayed silent throughout Jimmy's speech, not moving or making a noise, only inhaling briefly when the latter mentioned Scott had spoken to him. He paused before exhaling for the first time in what felt like forever, and gave a response.

"Y'know I think it mainly affected me as badly as it did because it was you. I'd been teasing you for so long and because you're just a human," he sighed and muttered something under his breath, intending for Himmy not the hear it "well, canary technically but that's not the point." He paused and continued speaking as normal. "It shook me up seeing the sudden outburst. I didn't think you'd actually do it."
