May, 1995.

Good morning,

Today officially marks four full months that you and Joey have been together. Your father and I are so happy that you've found the one person who makes you feel as special and beautiful as the Northern lights.

As a gift, I've sent this letter with a book. This gift is more for Joey, as I know you already have a book like this. Please tell her I say happy anniversary.

Also, summer holiday is rolling around and I'd like to know if Joey would want to spend some time here at the manor. I'd love to see her during the summer holidays, so please do ask her when you get the chance. I'd like to show her the new flowers I've planted in the garden and the porch. Perhaps I can teach her how to garden.

With love,
Mother

Draco's mouth broke out into a smile at the fact that his mother was truly his and Joey's biggest fan.

Standing by his desk, he placed the letter upon the smooth surface and picked up the book wrapped in brown paper, sealed with a Malfoy crescent wax stamp.

He decided not to open it, so he could save it for later when he and Joey had their four-month anniversary dinner date. He'd give it to her and tell her it was from his mother.

Within the last few days, both he and Joey had argued nonstop about who was going to plan their date. She wanted to plan their date, but so did he. She'd even given him the silent treatment one night and the morning after when he wouldn't let her plan the date.

She refused to cuddle with him that night, and when they woke up with their limbs entwined, she shoved him away and escaped to the bathroom. She refused to kiss him until he gave her what she wanted, which was to plan their date.

So to make her happy, he gave in and made a compromise with her. He came up behind her in the bathroom and wrapped her in his arms. His hands slipped beneath her shirt and he caressed her navel with the tips of his fingers.

Then he leaned down to her ear and softly whispered a compromise. He would plan their dinner date and she could plan a date during the day, but that could only happen if she agreed to skip classes since their anniversary fell on a Friday. He was taken by surprise when she agreed without argument.

Now, he finished getting dressed by putting his watch on. He and Joey didn't spend the night together because she'd said she had stuff to do to prepare for their date.

The night before, she told him not to dress fancy, so he didn't. He put on black trousers and a black crewneck. Her gold ring hung on his silver chain, where it belonged, that rested over the crewneck.

Since the hours of the day were her time to spoil him, she'd even demanded that he stay in his dorm until she came to get him. Being docile, he obeyed.

It was nearly noon when a knock interrupted the quietness of Draco's dorm. Putting his book down on his desk where he was reading while he waited, he rose from his seat and crossed to the door.

His hand closed around the knob and he twisted before pulling it open. The first thing he heard was a loud scream of elation before he saw her.

"We're matching!" Joey beamed with a lightning smile, and used her wand to gesture between their outfits. "Draco, we're matching! We didn't even plan this!"

She was dressed in a pair of black cargo pants, but instead of a black crewneck, she was wearing an oversized dark grey crewneck. She paired it with her white sneakers. Her dark hair was done in two French braids with baby hairs hanging down to frame her perfect face.
