Naseria is an abandoned child, a beautiful abandoned child. She was left in the street when she was a baby. Only an old beggar known as Tandang Pago took care of her. But when the old man fell ill, he chose to entrust the child to a nun.

They accepted the child because her beauty was mesmerizing. The child grew up to be beautiful, joyful, and intelligent. She had an extraordinary intellect, quickly understanding things, which made it easy for the nuns in the orphanage to care for her.

One day, two couples visited the orphanage. One couple was the Andersons, who belonged to the Earl's family. Their social status was lower compared to the other couple, who came from the Marquess family.

Naseria was a clever child. When the two couples were introduced to her, she immediately noticed the difference in their social standings.

She desired a life where everything she wanted could be bought. Moreover, the Anderson couple already had a child, and she didn't want any competition for their attention.

So, with a smile, she chose the Marquess family, which made the couple happy. They looked down on the Anderson couple, even in the matter of adoption. They felt superior. How poor, so poor.

On that day, her name was also changed. Her name, Naseria, became Lilibeth Chamberlain, following the name of her new mother, Marchioness Lilianne.

Three years passed, and Lilibeth's life seemed happy. However, she noticed that her foster parents were growing distant from her. She always received harsh words from them.

She did everything she could, joined every school activity to regain her foster parents' attention, but it seemed like it was never enough.

She did everything, hoping to gain the attention she desired, yet her parents easily gave it to their new adopted daughter, Arishia, without any effort. Lilibeth couldn't accept it.

Due to intense jealousy that slowly consumed her heart, Naseria's behavior changed. She went from being a sweet and gentle lady to being rude and harsh.

She constantly puts Arishia's life in danger.

There were instances when Arishia almost drowned because Naseria pushed her into a river with strong currents on that particular day.

There was also a close call when she tampered with the carriage Arishia was riding, almost causing it to fall into a ravine.

And the worst of all, she poisoned Arishia, resulting in her deep sleep for almost a month!

Because of her actions, her parents decided to punish her. She was stripped of her title as the daughter of a Marquess and thrown inside the church. She became a floor cleaner inside.

One night, while the mass was taking place, Naseria was crying alone on the side of the church. She could see her family inside, including the wide-awake and shameless Arishia!

It hurt her to see that they seemed not to recognize her and ignored her presence, even though Naseria knew they saw her. They didn't even spare her a glance.

After a year of being good inside the church, wasn't that enough for them to take her back home?

Naseria's crying only stopped when someone handed her a handkerchief. As she looked up, she saw a handsome man dressed as a prince, illuminated by the moonlight.
