Valeri gained consciousness, feeling her head throbbing in pain.

Mariin niyang pinikit ang kaniyang mga mata, her hands were pressing the side of her head, hoping that the pain will lessen but it didn't.

She wasn't just in pain. At the moment, memories that she knew didn't came from was now flooding her mind as well. Various images, sceneries, and voices are now occupying her aching brain.

Valeri wanted to shout her pain. She wanted to yell out loud, but in the end, she just bit her lower lip and endure the pain in silence.

Sa sobrang diin ng kaniyang kamao at ang pagkagat niya sa kaniyang labi, dumugo ang mga ito. Her nails are digging on her palm, while her teeth are digging her lips.

Her tears began to run down to her cheeks. Her body temperature also began to rise while her breathing is getting fast.

After an hour of pain, it finally subsided. Nakaya narin niyang buksan ang kaniyang mga mata. In a couple of blinking, she eventually gained her clear vision and was now looking around the room kung saan siya ngayon.

Why is her hand these small?!

Valeri lowered her hands and stared at the ceiling, lost in thought.

Memories of her death came rushing back. After seeking revenge and eliminating those who had ruthlessly killed her family, she had found happiness in her new life.

The General had taken care of her and loved her. But after three years of enjoying her fresh start, she had been involved in an accident that ended her life.

Suddenly, she remembered waking up in a dark forest. She could hear the birds chirping and feel the cold wind whispering in her ears. The forest had a strange and unsettling atmosphere, but Valeri wasn't afraid.

Instead, she was confused as to why she was in the forest when her last memory was dying unexpectedly in a car crash.

Valeri walked without a clear destination, until she stopped upon seeing a lady standing three meters away from her.

Despite the darkness, the lady in front of her seemed to emit a soft glow. Valeri could clearly see that she was incredibly beautiful, almost like a goddess. The lady's white hair added to her beauty.

Although her face appeared innocent, Valeri sensed that she was hiding some secret.

“Hi,” the lady greeted, causing Valeri's eyes to widen.

So she could speak?

“Who are you?” Valeri asked cautiously, becoming wary of the unknown lady.

The lady smiled innocently, her face radiating peace as her bright smile matched the glowing light around her.

“You know me, Valeri.”

Valeri furrowed her brow. Did she know this person? But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't recall ever meeting this woman. Was she lying to avoid answering her questions?

As if the woman in front of her had read her thoughts, she chuckled.

“Naseria. My name is Naseria, Valeri. You should remember me by now, hmm?”
