After my tea time, I went back inside the house. Kaagad namang sumunod sa akin si Lala, my personal maid. Hindi ito palaging dumidikit sa akin, as per my instruction, kasi hindi talaga ako sanay.

I headed to the library, which is located on the first floor. It has been my routine ever since I reached an age where they wouldn't find it strange for me to be reading mature stuff inside a library.

I sat down on my usual chair after selecting something to read. I always delve into topics like world rankings and anything that can expand my knowledge about this world.

Ang alam ko lang kasi ay nasa loob ako ng nobela. I am familiar with the plot and the upcoming steps of the characters in this novel, but not the entirety of this world.

Una kong binasa ang background ng bawat kilalang pamilya sa mundong ito. Well-known families have books containing the written background of other influential families, for them to determine who can be trusted and who cannot.

I didn't skip the map of this country either. I learned about its politics and how the rules work here. I also read about the rights and orders, different styles of combat, rankings, and more.

Now, I am going to read about their various languages here. I can't rely solely on the knowledge I gained from reading the novel before. It was incomplete. Plus, things might have changed, just like how I have changed.

“My lady, pasensya na po sa abala. May sulat po na dumating, addressed to you and the entire Anderson family.”

I took the letter handed to me by Lala. It had a red color and a crest that symbolized the royal family.

Umangat ang kaliwa kong kilay bago ito binuksan. Palaging sinasabi sa amin noon ni Papa na kung alam naman naming puwedeng buksan ang sulat, kami na daw ang bumukas at magbasa.

Busy kasi siya sa kaniyang negosyo na nasa ibang bayan. Si Mama naman'y sumama sa mayordoma ng mansion sa pamamalengke kaya naiwan ako ngayong mag-isa.

I read the letter before telling Lala to fetch me a quill, ink, and clean paper. Ako na lamang ang magsusulat ng reply para sa royal family. Nakakahiya naman kasi kung matatagalan ang reply namin, paimportante kami, gano'n?

Tsaka kahapon pa naman ako sinabihan nina mama na ako nalang daw ang magsulat ng reply kung may darating nga. Inaasahan na kasi nilang magpapadala ang royal family ng sulat.

The letter contains an invitation para sa whole Anderson family. Nakasulat sa letter na kaarawan daw ng pinakabatang prinsepe, which is sa pagkakatanda ko'y nasa edad na pitong taon.

After writing a reply, I immediately instructed Lala to send the letter to the palace.

Muli akong naiwang mag-isa habang iniisip ang deskripsyon ng nobela patungkol sa royal family. Sinabi ba doon na dignified ang mga ito? Mabait kaya? Hmm.

All it mentioned was that the king had a twisted mind. He even enforced a law allowing men to have multiple wives. Yes, they have such laws here. Siyempre siya ang nangunguna sa batas na iyon.

He has one official wife, the Queen, and five concubines. The two concubines were his favorite siguro kasi may anim na anak ang isa habang walo naman ang isa na ang ama ay ang Hari.

It's not new to me. My eyes were opened a long time ago on Earth, where such people who can't be content with just one exist.

In my opinion, I don't like it. But since it's their custom here, it's up to them. But if I ever have a partner, puputulin ko talaga ang bayag niya kapag malaman kong marami kami!
