Leeway and Mike had been split up in Rai's fortress. Leeway followed Sherps to Rai's quarters, hoping to gather information about the wall. As he walked, he evaluated his surroundings, trying to sense Rai's presence, but it was as if Rai wasn't there at all.

"Okay, he should be in here. You go ahead; I'm about to go check on my sister," Sherps said.

"Okay," Leeway replied.

Leeway walked into a large room with a big throne in the middle and a glass wall behind it leading out to a balcony on the top floor. "This room is crazy," he thought to himself.

"So, tell me what happened," a voice suddenly said.

Leeway swung his head around, startled, and saw Conqueror Rai standing right behind him, clear as day. "How did I not sense him?" he thought.

Leeway, trying to hide his surprise, straightened up and faced Rai. He needed to be careful not to blow his cover.

"The monk and his companion attacked us. They took out many of our guards and injured Loca," Leeway said.

"Is that so? And where are they now?" Rai asked.

"They managed to escape somewhere on your territory. We are regrouping and planning to search for them," Leeway replied.

Rai narrowed his eyes, studying Leeway intently. Leeway felt the weight of his gaze, sensing that Rai was suspicious.

"Your voice... it sounds different. Have you been injured?" Rai asked.

"No, sir. Just exhausted from the fight," Leeway said.

"Interesting. Step closer, let me see your face," Rai demanded.

Leeway hesitated, knowing that getting too close could reveal his true identity. He stepped forward cautiously, his mind racing for a plan. Just then, Duke burst into the room, gaining Rai's attention. Leeway took a step back and let out a sigh of relief as Duke entered the room. He tried to remain calm, using this distraction to regain his composure.

"Is that so?" Rai said while walking to his throne. "Interesting. The device must be completed on time, or there will be consequences."

Leeway, listening intently, tried to piece together what they were talking about. He knew he must stay focused and gather as much information as possible.

"Yes, Master Rai. She said she'll try to finish it by tomorrow morning," Duke responded.

"Good. We need it to harness the power of the Raining Eclipse," Rai said.

Leeway's ears perked up at the mention of the Raining Eclipse. He had heard whispers of it during his training but never fully understood its significance.

"The Raining Eclipse, sir? What is that?" Leeway asked.

Rai turned his attention back to Leeway, his eyes narrowing slightly. "The Raining Eclipse is a rare event, one that brings back the souls of the strongest warriors to the living world. It creates an immense amount of energy, and those who know how to control their pneuma can become exponentially stronger. It is a time of great power and opportunity."

"And this device... it harnesses that power?" Leeway inquired.

"Indeed. With it, we can control the energy of the Raining Eclipse and use it to crush any who oppose us," Rai explained.

Leeway tried to hide his shock. He knew this could be a turning point, a chance to gather strength and turn the tide against Rai.

"Why are you so interested in the Raining Eclipse, guard?" Rai asked suspiciously.
