A/N: Short fluff, nothing more, nothing less

Midoriya was going on another one of his early morning jogs, a bit later than usual, when he passed by the showers in the dorms. He could hear a faint singing coming from the showers, and the voice sounded very familiar, but he couldn't place it right away. He wasn't quite sure why he was so intrigued, but he pressed his ear to the door and listened to the singing.

You had gotten up very early to take a long shower, and to have a slow morning, even though it was a school day. You were so sure everyone would still be asleep, and there would be no one to hear you sing in the shower, so you didn't hold back. You loved singing, you just didn't particularly like doing it when others could hear you, so these early mornings were perfect. You were sure Izuku had already left for his jog too, so you weren't ready when he basically fell on his ass when you opened the door from the shower locker rooms to the hallway. You already had your school uniform on, and you were going to take the dirty laundry back up to your room so you could wash all of them after school.

"Oh my god!" you gasped, clutching your chest at the sudden surprise. "Izuku? What are you doing here, I thought you'd left for your jog already"

"I'm-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to eavesdrop on you, but-but you sang so beautifully" Midoriya stammered as he waved his hands in front of himself.

"Damn it, I thought I was alone" you sighed as you offered your hand to him and pulled him up from the floor.

"I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to eavesdrop" Midoriya apologized again, still holding your hand, drawing circles on the back of your palm with his thumb.

"Don't worry about it... Do you really think my singing was beautiful?" you asked cautiously.

"Yes!" Midoriya exclaimed enthusiastically. "You have an amazing voice!"

Izuku's words brought a smile to your face.

"Thanks" you beamed.

"You're welcome!" Midoriya smiled.

You just stood there for a moment, holding hands, before Midoriya realized he was supposed to go for his jog. He still lingered for a moment, unable to let go of your hand. Even though he wasn't going to be gone for long, the moment of parting was always bittersweet. He knew you would be there when he got back, you always were.

"Sorry, I have to go" Midoriya said and kissed you on the cheek before hurrying out the door.

"Izuku!" you yelled after him with a wave.

He turned around and waved back at you as he almost stumbled out the door. His little stumble made you chuckle. He always made you laugh, be it accidentally or on purpose. He was your happiness, because he could always make you smile.
