Just then, the dining room door swung open, revealing two figures that made my eyes widen in surprise and making Taehyung frown. He mumbled under his breath, "Okay, now I get it. So that's where this information is coming to you." He realized that his friends had told his mother about their constant workdays.

Jimin and Jungkook greeted the older couple warmly before taking their seats. "Hey, Yena! Good to see you again," Jimin exclaimed, throwing an arm around my shoulder in a friendly hug."

Jungkook, ever the observer, sent Taehyung a knowing smirk. "Nice occasion hyung" he said, his voice laced with amusement. "Family dinner with 'family', huh?"

Taehyung's frown deepened. He knew what Jungkook meant by 'family'.

I felt a wave of relief wash over me. Having Jimin and Jungkook there made the atmosphere more relaxed and lively. They knew Taehyung well, and their easy banter instantly brought a lighter mood to the table. At least the conversation wouldn't be entirely focused on me and Taehyung's nonexistent honeymoon plans.

As we started eating, the boys chatted about work and funny anecdotes, filling the room with laughter. Taehyung looked more at ease too, joining in on the conversations. Yet, every now and then, his gaze would linger on me, a hint of something unspoken in its depths. The warmth around the table made me feel more at home.

The lively conversation around the table was briefly interrupted by Mr. Kim, who turned his attention to me. "Yena," he began, "Taehyung mentioned that the approval is soon in the pipeline for collaboration."

I nodded, "Yes, Mr. Kim. With this collaboration, I'm looking forward to seeing how our brands can complement each other."

Mr. Kim smiled warmly. "We're excited to bring your creativity into the fold."

"Thank you," I said, humbled by his praise.

"But I think you should start calling me Dad now," he said. I further spoke, "Yes, Mr. Kim...I mean Dad." Everyone laughed at my words.

As the conversation shifted back to lighter topics, the dessert was served. Mrs. Kim took the opportunity to make an unexpected suggestion. "Since tomorrow is Sunday and you both don't have work, why don't you stay here tonight? It would be nice to spend more time together, and Yena, it would give you a chance to relax and chat with us a little more. After all, it's your home now too."

Taehyung remained silent, his hesitation palpable. I understood his unspoken discomfort. Staying the night here would be different, especially given the nature of our relationship. We weren't living as a normal couple at home, our situation was far from ordinary.

Jungkook, never one to miss an opportunity, jumped in with a mischievous glint in his eye. "Yes, hyung, you both should stay. You can show Yena your room and we can catch up more. It's been a while since we've had this kind of gathering."

He smirked, adding, "Unless, of course, you have some other, much more important plans for the night, back at home. But if nothing is pressing, staying here would be nice, don't you think?"

His words hung in the air, a subtle challenge that made me freeze for a second as I deciphered the hidden meaning. It was clear he was pushing Taehyung, trying to get a reaction.

Taehyung scoffed, finally giving in. "Okay, we'll stay here tonight."

Mrs. Kim's face lit up with delight. "Wonderful! You can go tomorrow after having breakfast. I promise I won't take up too much of your time."

The rest of the evening passed in a blur of conversation where three boys were having their laughter doses and I was smiling seeing them smile. Taehyung's family was warm and welcoming, making me feel more at ease despite the underlying tension. As the night drew to a close, we all said our goodnights, and Jimin and Jungkook left for their homes.
