It's been about two hours since I was sitting in my office at Vista, trying to make sense of the scene that had shattered me.

Four empty cups of iced americano sit on my desk, a testament to my attempt to be focused in a stressful situation. But no amount of caffeine could numb the shock of what I had witnessed. My brain felt like it was about to explode.

The scene is still so clear in front of my eyes. As soon as I opened the door to his office room slightly, I saw Taehyung on the couch, lying on top of...

Jimin

with a paper in Jimin's hand. They were kissing each other...or at least that's what I saw. Their bodies were overlapped upon each other. That sight was enough for me to close the door immediately.

I couldn't believe what I had seen. Does this mean Taehyung likes...Jimin?

Maybe he's bisexual,' I muttered to myself. 'Or even gay.' The thought sent a chill down my spine. I had never imagined that my husband could be attracted to men.

My head pounded with questions. Why was he married to me if he preferred men? Had he been using me as a cover?

He had mentioned before that his last relationship didn't work out, but he never gave any details. Now, everything seemed to fall into place. Was his inability to connect with women the reason?

The questions swirled in my mind, making my head spin. If Taehyung likes men and is not interested in women, then why are we married? Our marriage now felt like a complete sham.

Everything I thought I knew about Taehyung, about us, crumbled like sandcastles under a tidal wave. Married to a man who didn't love women? We were barely married, and this? This was the reality that awaited me.

I never imagined I would catch my husband cheating on me...that too...

with a man...

with his friend...who he'd known for years.

Are they just friends, or have they been partners all along? The thought made me feel nauseous. My emotions ranged from betrayal to confusion, anger to heartbreak. I felt like I was on the brink of losing my sanity.

Was there an "us" anymore? My carefully curated image of a so-called happy marriage lay shattered at my feet.

Pulling at my hair, a desperate act of self-punishment, I wished for a rewind button, a chance to erase the memory, as if it never happened.

But the truth, no matter how ugly, stared me down. I couldn't ignore it. I couldn't unsee it. The weight of the decision before me was suffocating - confront him, seek answers, or run, escape the suffocating reality before it consumed me whole.

Suddenly, my phone buzzed. It was a text from Jimin asking me why I didn't come to the meeting. I hesitated before opening it, dreading what it might say. His words were casual. The normalcy of his message contrasted sharply with the chaos in my mind.

I took a deep breath and tried to compose myself. I had to respond, to maintain the facade of normalcy, at least for now. Typing with shaking hands, I replied that we would discuss the theme tomorrow and that I had some ideas to share.

The betrayal felt personal, cutting deeper than any wound. I wanted to confront Taehyung, but I didn't know what to say. But would that make things better or worse? Would he even tell me the truth? How could I possibly accuse him of cheating on me with another man? The very thought questioned me on my plan of confronting him.

I decided to act normal, at least for now, until I could figure out my next step. The clock struck 8 PM; it was quite late. I checked my phone and saw four missed calls from Taehyung and two text messages. I wasn't in the position, nor in the mood, to pick up calls from my "so-called husband."

Despite my reluctance to go home and face him, I knew I couldn't avoid it forever. I headed home, my mind racing with thoughts.

Upon arriving, I saw him in the kitchen, doing something. As I entered the living room, he noticed me and came towards me, his expressions what seemed like concern to me.

"What happened? Why weren't you picking up my calls? And why didn't you come to the meeting? Are you okay? Is everything alright?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.

I nodded and replied, "I was just busy in my office." I then headed towards the stairs.

"At least have food first...you're already late," he urged.

"No, I don't feel like eating. You go ahead. I ate something in the evening," I said and hurried to my room, closing the door behind me.

I tossed my bag aside and entered the bathroom. A cold shower was needed to numb my emotions since I couldn't confront him now. The icy water helped calm my racing thoughts.

After the shower, I lay on my bed, replaying the day's events in my mind. "Why me again? Why do I feel like a loser again?"

I thought bitterly. "Okay, they like each other...great. But why involve me in their mess? Why put my life at stake by marrying me?"

I wasn't mad that Taehyung didn't love me-I didn't love him either. What infuriated me was that he had trapped me along with him. We both hadn't wanted this marriage, but he should have talked to his parents. As far as I could tell, his parents didn't seem to know about his relationship with Jimin.

"Why am I supposed to act like a cover for the mighty CEO Kim Taehyung?" I fumed. "The only solution seems right to me now is divorcing him...as soon as the partnership between both companies is over. I would be free then. I can't let the business suffer because of my problems."

She cursed the day her father decided to involve families in business. "Look how it turned out," she thought, feeling a mix of anger and despair.

Lost in her thoughts, she didn't even realize when she fell asleep.

Taehyung watched Yena walk...almost run up the stairs, closing the door loudly behind her. What has gotten into her? he thought, puzzled. He returned to the kitchen where he had been trying to make a smoothie but had left it unfinished. The tension in the air was palpable, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong.

He ate his dinner in silence, his mind racing with thoughts about Yena's sudden change in behaviour. Why had she been avoiding his calls? Why had she missed the meeting? Was she just busy, or was there something else going on?

After finishing his meal, Taehyung cleaned up and made his way towards his room. As he reached the top of the stairs, he paused for a moment in front of Yena's door. Curiosity and concern gnawed at him. He gently opened the door a crack and peeked inside. Yena was lying on the bed, still in her bathrobe, her face peaceful in sleep.

Maybe she's just tired, he thought. Or maybe there's something else bothering her. He quietly closed the door and retreated to his room, his mind still filled with unanswered questions.

Guys, I am feeling bad for Yena since the situation has become messier. What do you think about it? Is everything true or she's wrong in analysing the situation? What are your thoughts about the thing that happened back in the office room?

But I appreciate the attitude of Yena that do whatever you want, just don't involve me in your mess. Make sure to vote⭐️ and comment on the chapter. I'll try to improve in next chapters.

Well, it's even less than 48 hours since Seokjin returns💜💜. An event of light hug and interaction is being organised on the 11th anniversary of BTS where armys will get to hug buffed Jin. Here we're crying being International Army 😭😭😭🤧.
