Next day, Sunday
Yena's P.O.V

The next morning, I woke up with a pounding headache, a cruel reminder of the excesses of the previous night. Rubbing my temples, I sat on the bed, on the couch in front of me, I found my sister, Soojin, looking amused.

“Unnie, you must have enjoyed last night, right?” She asked, hoping that I could give her some information.

“Ugh,” was all I could manage, my throat being dry. “Did I...” I trailed off, formulating my question.

Soojin’s lips quirked into a full-blown grin. “Did you what, Unnie?”

“Come home… with someone?” I mumbled, the uncertainty in me rising.

“Someone?” “Oh, you have no idea,” she replied cryptically.
“Oh honey, you came home with Taehyung-ssi.”

Taehyung? My breath caught in my throat. The memory of a blurry figure, resembling him, flickered at the edges of my mind. “But… Aera? Wasn’t Aera with me?” I stammered, desperately searching for the missing pieces of the puzzle.

“You were completely wasted, not a single coherent sentence came out of your mouth. What on earth possessed you to drink so much? And what about Aera unnie? Was she with you last night too?”

I nodded slowly, my headache worsening with each passing moment. Soojin excused herself to fetch a hangover soup, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

Sighing deeply, I pressed my hand against my temple, trying to recall the events of the evening. Fragmented memories began to resurface – myself, Aera, and Taehyung together, but the details remained elusive.

Despite my efforts to piece together the night’s events, the memories remained hazy and disjointed. One thing, however, was clear – Taehyung’s presence had been a significant part of the evening. But beyond that, I struggled to make sense of the drunken escapade.

Sitting on the couch, I decided to call Aera to get a clearer picture of what had transpired. The phone rang a few times before her voice filled my ear.

“Finally awake, Yena?” Aera exclaimed, her tone a mix of annoyance and concern. “You caused quite a scene last night. Do you even remember what you did?”

My heart sank, realizing that she had indeed made a spectacle of herself. “I’m sorry, Aera,” she apologized. “I can’t remember clearly. Can you please tell me what did I do?

“What did you do?” Aera practically yelled. “You created absolute chaos, that’s what!”

Aera sighed dramatically. “Okay, okay. So, remember we were at the club?” I could vaguely picture the music and flashing lights.

Aera continued, “Suddenly, we saw Taehyung and those two other guys, Jungkook and Jimin, walk in. Everything was fine until...” Her voice trailed off.

“Until...?” I prompted, my heart pounding in my chest.

“You got completely wasted,” Aera blurted out. “Then, you started calling a random guy a ‘handsome stranger’ and even asked him to be your fake boyfriend to escape the wedding!”

My jaw dropped. “A fake boyfriend? What?”

“Yes, dear!” Aera confirmed. “The worst part is, the guy you hit on turned out to be Jungkook, Taehyung’s friend! Later, Taehyung dropped you to the home."

My head spun. All this time, I’d been hitting on Taehyung’s friend right in front of him. How could I have been so foolish? This was worse than I thought.
