A few days have passed, and today is my big day!
I'm scheduled to be picked up at 10 a.m., and then the driver will take me to the location. I'll start off by myself, and then Mase will join me at 12 p.m. This morning, he is scheduled to have a meeting with the real estate agent we spoke with in Manchester. It's set for us to buy the house today if everything goes as planned. So Mase will have to take care of that first before joining me.
I arrive at the location and am met by Marie the second I step out of the car.
"Hey, how are we doing?" Marie asked, giving me a hug.
"Doing good, super excited for today!" I said with a big smile. "How are you?"
"Doing good, lovely to spend some time here in New York!"
"I know, I love this place."
She follows me into the building and the studio where we're set to be shooting today. This is my first-ever shoot, and it's in New York, which feels so surreal. Marie does everything she can to make me feel comfortable and not nervous.
As I get settled in, I am taken to the makeup and hair room. Two ladies start glamming me up and styling my hair. After approximately one hour, we finish in the makeup and hair room, and I am shown all my outfits for the day. I change into the first one and walk out to the studio. The photographer introduces me to the vision for the shoot, and then we get started. We continue for 30 minutes, and then I have an outfit change. We shoot for another 30 minutes before taking a break. As I sit and relax for a minute, scrolling on my phone, I receive a text.

Look up
I do as the text says and see Mase walking into the studio. I can feel a smile growing on my face, excited to see him here. I stand up and give him a warm embrace when he reaches me.
"Hey, baby," Mase says, connecting our lips in a kiss.
"Hey, how's everything?" I ask.
"We got the house!" he exclaims with excitement, hugging me tightly.
"That's incredible!" I say, feeling so happy.
"I know, it actually went really smoothly," he explains. "And the small renovations will start soon, so the house will be ready when we're done traveling with the lads later in the summer."
"Perfect, oh, I can't wait!" I hug him again. "You make me the happiest."
"You deserve the world," he says, kissing me again. "Hey, but how's the shoot going?" he asks, genuinely interested.
"Great, just having a quick break, and then we'll start again," I explain.
"That's lovely. I'm excited to see you in action," he says with a wink.
Marie called my name and informed me that we were starting again. I went to the makeup and hair room to get a quick touch-up, then I changed into my next outfit and entered the studio again. I quickly got into action, striking various poses. The photographer gave me small comments like "Good job," "Stay there...perfect!" and "Just rotate your face a bit to the left," etc. To be more specific, she did a really good job guiding me. I just had one last outfit left, and as I was doing some of the final shots, Mase's eyes met mine. His gaze gave me butterflies, and my smile grew wider. I think it did something good for the pictures, making them more natural, to be honest.
Three hours have passed since the shoot. We've been exploring the city afterward, and then we got ready to go out for dinner. As we finished up dinner, it was time for us to head to the Knicks game. We had a five-minute walk from the restaurant to Madison Square Garden.
"Next stop, Madison Square Garden," Mase said, as he put his arm over my shoulder.
"You're so excited," I said, laughing. "By the way, I spoke to Jaz earlier today."
"How come?" Mase asked, trying to sound casual. He had been planning a surprise for me with Jaz's help, so he was nervous that I might know something.
"She just called to hear about my shoot," I said, smiling.
"I hope you told her how amazing you were," he said, squeezing me. "You and Jaz have such a cute relationship. I like it."
"Not my fault you have an awesome sister," I said, giggling.
We arrived at Madison Square Garden, entering through the backdoor. Mase showed an email to the doorman, and we were welcomed inside. We eventually found our seats. It was the perfect spot, just behind the players' bench, but with a really good view of the court. The atmosphere was electric, with music playing before the game and the players warming up, which grabbed my attention while Mase spoke to the manager who had invited us.
The first half had passed, and now it was halftime. We went out to get something to drink and some popcorn for snacks. As we arrived back at our seats, we had just a brief moment before I randomly looked up and saw Mase and me on the kiss cam.
"Mase, we're on the kiss cam," I pointed out, smiling at him. Before I knew it, Mase gave me a sweet kiss, and I could hear everybody cheering us on.
Eventually, the camera stopped recording us, and I spoke. "Did you plan this or something?" I asked, laughing.
"I would have if I knew you would like it this much," he said, smiling.
"Haha, no, I just think it's funny," I said, smiling back. "Imagine if you just didn't kiss me."
"Even if I didn't know you, I would still kiss your pretty face," he said, kissing me again.
"What a charmer you are," I said, leaning up against him.
The second half started, and the Knicks were doing well. The score ended 81-63 in favor of the Knicks. It was a win. Everybody was super happy, and the mood was amazing. At the end of the game, Mase was welcomed onto the court. He exchanged jerseys with one of the players, and the crowd clapped for them. When they finished, Mase returned to me, and we made our way out of the stadium, still buzzing from the excitement of the game.
