Despite the recent argument, the group still got together for a call out.
"Mrs Allie Illtyd has called us in to look at a suspected ghost. We have no name or clues. Grian, make sure Scar knows what he's doing. Scar, you can work in the van for now. Skizz, you find the room while I bring in the Camera and the DOTs." Impulse instructed, not actually looking at any of the three, and sent them on the job.
Skizz went inside with a thermometer and went through, checking every room for temperature dips.
Scar, Grian and Impulse were still in the van. Impulse was setting up the cameras on tripods and grabbing the DOTs flashlights and putting them in his pockets. Grian was walking Scar through how to use and read the screens and when to notify on low sanity.
There was a tension in the van, it disappeared as soon as Impulse left. A couple seconds after he went outside Skizz came on the radio to announce they had a bathroom ghost.
-----
The house was quite dark. No body had gone for the breaker yet an Skizz was hoping that someone was going to turn it on soon. He wasn't afraid of the dark, just that EVERYTHING creepy happens in the dark. Murders, ghosts, that feeling your being watched when you trying to go to sleep, all of that.
Finding the ghost was a long process. It wasn't something your could work out. No, you had to painstakingly walk into every room in the house and check the temperature. Sometimes you get lucky and walk into the ghosts room pretty early on, but that's not guaranteed. Especially in some massive warehouses or schools.
Skizz pushed a door open and found a kids room. It had lots of toys strewn about and a desk in the far corner that was probably was white once but nothing stays the same colour when you give a child felt tip pens. The whiteboard on the wall was the same. Probably drawn on with a non-eraseable pen. Never to be clean again.
The temperature had in fact, not dropped. Staying at a sturdy 19° from the hallway. So to the next room it was.
The next room was the bathroom. It was relatively well sized. It had a shower/bath, a toliet, sink and one of those cabinets above it with the mirror as the door. Now, Skizz wasn't a judgemental person, but who on earth leaves the toilet seat up when they have guests round?
"Guys, its a bathroom ghost! Also can someone please turn on the brea-"
"breakers on" Impulses voice crackled through the radio.
There was a silence from Skizz for a second, "...thanks."
The radio stayed quiet from then on.

"So, this screen over here shows you our sanity each and collectively. It works by measuring how long we have been in the house in different conditions and ghosts usually hunt at different levels of sanity depending on how they think they can attack. When it does hunt, noting the collective sanity down will help us." Grian explained gesturing to points on the screen.
A lot of information was being thrown at him all at once, but Scar thought he was doung quite well, "...Ok, I think I get it."
Grian continued, "Great, this is the Activity screen. It is connected to the EMF readers in the house and will notify you when an event or a hunt happens. A hunt will have the line up to 10 and the event will have the line down here at five. This can help find the Twins but I doubt we will have them soon."
"This is the screen thats connected to the sounds sensors. When they are put down you will be able to see how loud they are and from where. Tell us when that happens because it could lead to finding the room of th-"
