Today, they were at the sight of an older house. Made back in the Elizabethan times. It was quite well made except for the fact that they couldn't put too much weight on the second floor, it had a tendancy to collapse. The wooden beams of the house looked like they have been replaced at least once. It had been rebuilt as a safety precaution but it kept its old timey flare to it.

It was important they did no damage to the house. They would have to pay for the repairs, possible medical bills and they might lose customers over it.

It was Grians turn in the van today. Scar and Grian had been fighting over who goes in the van. Scar usually won with the 'I'm new and I wont know what to do' argument, but today Grian combatted that with 'but you will need to learn someday.'

So Scar sludged around the house with Skizz and Impulse trying to find the ghost.

To make their lives easier, the group had begun to walk around the house with the spirit box and the book. Walking into rooms and explaining to the air, and hopefully a ghost, what they were doing there. When the ghost cooperated, they could get its help to figure out what type of ghost they are.

So Impulse was checking every room with the book, Skizz was doing the same with the spirit box. Scar was in charge of turning on the breaker and checking for anything that might help in finding the ghost.

So they walked around, explaining their plan to whatever would listen.

"Hey Ghost! We have a proposition for you!"

"We can help you get out of here and escape the exorcists."

"All we need is your help! So if you could tell us where you are they would be great!"

"Just speak right in this mic right here"

"Just write something in this book"

"Just give me some sort of sign"

"And we will help you out"

There was no answer, not a peep from the ghost. Was there actually no ghost here? The owner had given sufficient evidence in the email, and multiple deaths had been recorded here. It would be a surprise if none of them turned into ghosts here.

The three reconvened in the hallway, chating with Grian over the radio about what was happening. For sure, there was a ghost in this house, and yet not a single hint as to where or what it was.

"Should we keep searching, or?..."

"Well, there was undeniable proof of someone else here when I looked at the email..."

"Maybe its scared we would be frightened of it?"

"We said we wanted a sign, didn't we?"

"I know, I jus-" The hairs on the back of Scars neck raised. A cold shiver ran through his body.

"Guys? Why hasn't anything happened?" Grian came into the room, not a sigle thing had came up on the monitors yet and nobody was telling him anything on the radio, so he came to get the answers himself.

Scar and Skizz jumped, not expecting him to start talking from behind them. Skizz automatically grabbing onto Impulse's shoulder, then trying to play it off as comforting him... which he totally needed right then. Scar took the overexadurated 'Oh god, Grian you nearly killed me!' approach.

"We have got nothin-" A wave of coldness went though Impulse, him shivering in response.

"You good dude?" A worried Skizz asked him,now was the right time to comfort him, and he would of, right before the cold went past him. Like someone made of ice walked by.
