Nat got Carmen to come back around with some smelling salts that she kept in her pocket before she got a phone call from Happy.

Carmen though awake felt extremely groggy and sick from the amount of power she had felt.

"Carmen, they're asking me to drop you off at the airport with Pepper, are you going to be okay?"

Carmen yawned "Yes" she rubbed her eyes, forgetting about the makeup "I'll be fine" Carmen did her seatbelt up and laid her head back on the headrest "How are you going to get back?"

"Commercial flight" Nat smiled teasingly.

"As if" Carmen laughed as she knew Nat hated being stuck on a plane.

Nat chuckled "Fury wouldn't let that happen; he probably wants me back before Tony"

Carmen sighed as they got further and further away from the nice houses and ocean views "Nat if what you said is true then I'm not sure how much longer I can keep this up"

Nat furrowed her brows "You have to, Ana this is your job, I know you've grown attached but you can't stop now, you're too far in"

Carmen sat there and wondered what her life would be like if her mother had never been murdered, what if- that was the sentiment that ran through her head. The drive to the hangar was beautiful and Carmen appreciated it, she knew that this mission was the opportunity of a lifetime but the guilt of lying to someone so close to her made her feel anxious.

As they arrived at the hangar, Nat stopped the car and said, "Just a little longer" She squeezed Carmen's hand and quickly let go before opening her door and greeting Pepper.

Carmen rushed out of the car and hugged Pepper tightly "I'm so glad you're okay"

Pepper hugged Carmen back and kissed the top of her head "Me too, I know we had a weekend planned but we should go home, Carm"

Carmen nodded her head before pulling away "I think I'd rather go home anyway".

Pepper thanked Natalie for getting Carmen there safely and both boarded the plane, they waited for both Tony and Happy to get there, at which point they took off.

Carmen turned the news on and gasped at the footage of the attack, she couldn't help but laugh when Happy rammed the Rolls Royce into the guy.

As the flight went on the news kept putting on pundits who were either against or with Tony, most argued that at the hearing he said no one would ever have this technology yet this man showed that there were other people capable of having this tech, Tony had asked Carmen if she was hungry and Carmen nodded to some apple slices she had eaten earlier, he then left and had either gone to the bathroom or kitchen and had been gone for quite some time.
