The next day, we set out with the forest dragons on an expedition.

Our goal was to locate the OceanClaws. According to Phyline, they moved around a lot, which is why it can be hard to find them.

Kuione, fortunately, memorized the way there. She laid out a map in front of us, and we crowded around her.

"So we leave from the beach to the north and hopefully land on their south shore," she said. She ran a claw down the trail.

"How soon do you think we can get there?" Flihkfhur asked.

Phyline squinted at the sun. "I think, if we leave now, probably around noon?"

"Should we go now?" I asked.

Kuione looked up at me. "If you want to."

I turned toward my siblings. "Guys? What do you think?"

Flihkfhur shrugged. "I don't really care, as long as we GET there."

My other four siblings clamored that they wanted to leave as soon as possible.

"We'll leave now," I said, turning back towards the dragons.

I heard flapping behind me. Scryion came to a stop next to Flihkfhur. "I'm coming with you," he said.

"What, like that?" Ghitpethal demanded. "You didn't even ask."

He gave her a little smirk. "Who says I need to?"

She stood there, flabbergasted. I did a tail bump with him.

Without saying anything, Kuione leaped into the air and took off.

All of us glanced at each other, then we flew after her.

It always feels so peaceful flying in the sky. The sense of tranquility and solitude... it's a good way to just, forget about your problems and enjoy the cool air.

We glided, enjoying the sun. Just like home, the Dragon Island is something like no other place. It makes you want to stay there forever.

Below us, palm trees started to become visible, their fronds waving in the air.

On the beach, there were some dragons that seemed to hunting for fish. They crouched by the seaside, watching the water intently.

Their scales were a bright purple, with thick tails. Their wings were droplet shaped, just like Giysine described. Their talons were sharp, and to my surprise they didn't have webbing like I thought they would.

I asked Phyline this, and he answered, "They're really good swimmers. They don't need webbing."

One of the dragons looked up, and I saw that their eyes had blue irises with white pupils.

I waved at them. In the water, there was a shiny, metallic glint.

Flihkfhur noticed it and started drooling. "There's a fish right there."

"Yes, I see it too," I said.

I could literally see him holding himself back. He wanted to grab the fish but didn't know if he could or not.

The dragon I waved at earlier nodded at him. "They let you," Ghitpethal said.

Flihkfhur suddenly dove at the water with his claws outstretched. Just as he was about to hit the surface, he grabbed the fish and flew back to us.

The OceanClaws stood there in shock. Phyline leading the way, he soared down toward the beach and landed beside them. We followed after him.

"Isn't that how you hunt fish?" I asked.
