It's great for Kazuma that he brought Aqua and Y/n along with him, but unlike in a game world, much is missing from his adventurer's lifestyle. No money, no equipment, and even fighting the lowest ranking monsters is a hard-fought battle. That's when they decide to recruit new party members. =========================================================== As since begin at stables where Kazuma Y/n, and Aqua are stating for the time being as then in stable were Kazuma is looking at sleeping water goddess with a drool hanging from her mouth "life in another world, ain't as cool as I thought! I barely get by as noob adventurer. A stable's the only place I can afford to sleep. [Aqua moaning] Adventurers aren't badasses at all. They're just a bunch of day-laboring nobodies. If this was Japan. They couldn't even afford a capsule hotel down some dank alley. Minimum wage? [sniffles] Fair labor laws? Why am I talking to myself?!," said Kazuma as Aqua begins to wake up.
"Oh, good morning.," said Aqua "don't "good morning" me. It's almost freakin' noon. I thought we were doing a kill quest today.," said Kazuma "oh, right. Since we weren't going to work, I thought I'd sleep in for once.," said Aqua as she yawn "so much for yesterday's "you'll count on me" BS.," thought Kazuma "hello? Didn't you say this world was supposed to be under attack by the Devil King? There's nothin' evil going on! It couldn't get any more peaceful here!," said Kazuma "well, of course. This town the furthest from the Devil King's castle. He wouldn't out of his way just to attack a place that has nothing but amateur adventurers in it!," said Aqua "good point.," said Kazuma.
"Now that I'm awake, let's go on that kill quest! You can count on me, so don't you worry!," said Aqua "yeah, that still doesn't make me feel any better about it. Oh well! You are a goddess after all. We should be fine. Alright! Let's find some cheap gear and go kill some monsters!," said Kazuma "yeah!," said Aqua as some woods just thuds cause them to yelp " shut up or I'll beat your damn heads in!," said a man "sorry! We'll keep it down!," said the both of them "by the way where's your sister I didn't see her when I'd woke up?," said Aqua "oh she went ahead to train a bit before meeting us for the kill quest," said Kazuma "okay let's go and catch up to her!," said Aqua.
As Kazuma was screaming and running way from a giant toad "save me, Aqua! Y/n Save me- Whoa!," said Kazuma as a giant toad is leaping behind them as then Aqua and Y/n are watching him as Y/n is concerned about her brother as for Aqua she's laughing about this "this is hysterical! You should see how red your face is, Kazuma! You look so desperate!," said Aqua "are you sure I can't help my onii-chan it's looks like he really needs my help!," said Y/n "if I get out of this alive, I'll kill her! At least Y/n cares about me!," thoughtKazuma as Y/n sees another Toad also beginning to chase him too "I'll handle that other Toad "said Y/n as she went to deal with the Toad with her news weapons she received from the guild.
