6. Did he find out?

As I reached my room, I could see, from the streetlights, Drac's father on the mattress.

Trying my best to be silent, I got changed and climbed into my bed. It didn't take long, till I heard the door click. Drac tip toed inside, now standing at my bed. "N/A...are you awake?"

"Yes, what is it?"

"I...I...would like to...take your offer."

I knew what he was on about, patting the side next to me. He understood and got in. Not even five minutes and I could hear him snore. I turned my head towards him, watching him sleep. It didn't take long until I followed him shortly after.

In the morning, I was woken up by a hand.

Drac was shaking my shoulder lightly, "Wake up N/A."

I stretched my limbs, smiling at the vampire, "Good morning."

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?"

"Perfect and you?"

He smiled, "Same."

We heard someone clearing his throat. We looked onto that direction, facing Drac's father, Vlad, "Not even a day and you already hop into bed with a woman...I am proud of you son."

Drac felt uncomfortable now, "No, it is not like that dad!"

Vlad leaned towards me, whispering into my ear, "Tell me dear...did he satisfy you?"

"DAD!" the poor count was really embarrassed, jumping out of bed and through the door. I felt sorry for him. First he gets a beating from Rita and now, getting teased by his father. I excused myself before going after Drac. Vlad however, was pleased, "That is my boy...always picking the gorgeous ones."

Downstairs were Mavis, Jonny and the rest of Drac's pack. They were discussing about the morning breakfast. The moment Drac saw his daughter; he went over and hugged her tight. "Honey bat, you have no idea how bad my night was." Mavis didn't understand what he meant, till he began to explain what happened. He got silent as Rita arrived in the living room; her glare gave Drac the chills.

"Morning everybody!" I said, once I cached up with the vampire.

"N/A!" cheered Jonny, giving me a big hug.

"It is wonderful to see you again Jonny. Are you Mavis?"

The young vampire nodded, shaking my hand as a greeting, "It is nice to meet you N/A."

"The pleasure is all mine", I grinned "This is Rita, she is a good friend of mine. I am sure you have talked before on the phone."

Rita nodded, "Yeah we did. It is nice to meet you..." she glared now at Drac "...unlike you, you pervert."

"Pervert?!" repeated the pack, looking at Drac surprised.

"I am not a pervert! It is not my fault that you didn't know about this."

Rita is not the forgiving type yelling at him now, "You could have made yourself known, before I undressed myself...in front of you!"

Everyone looked at the vampire. The poor count pulled his head inside his cape, mumbling an apology. She didn't accept it, coming over to me, "N/A, since you and pervy over here are getting along. I think you should take him as your roommate." I knew that an argument with her was no use, she seem to love to fight. I decided to accept her demand, "Don't worry, I take care of him."

"Good, now help me in the kitchen" I followed Rita into the kitchen. Before that I offered the guests to give us a hand. Drac's pack was helping me outside, while Drac stayed with his daughter and Jonny. The count was sagging into the armchair, making Mavis worry, "Dad, are you okay?"

"No, not okay. I want to go home."

"But dad, we only just got here. I am sure it will get better when we all do something fun."

"I had enough fun for one night Mavi. I got hit by a woman, called a pervert and my dad thought I had a night with N/A. It can't get any better!"

These words got Jonny's attention, "You slept with N/A?"

Drac growled, "We were sleeping beside each other... not what you think!"

"Dad please, you can stay in N/A's room for the time being...isn't that good?"

Mavis tried her best to get her father to see the bright side. Unfortunately, Drac is talented to find only the dark sides, "Not if my dad shares the room with us."

"I am sure we can find a way for this, right Jonny?" Her husband smiled wide, "You bet honey. Don't worry Drac; N/A is the best thing that could ever happen to you!"

"If I wouldn't know any better I think you are trying to get us together Jonny."

Neither Jonny nor Mavis expects to hear this from Drac. Silence filled the room. Drac's eyes turned dark. He glared at the two, "Mavi, Jonny...is there something I should know?"
