The group of old vampires looked with wide eyes, as Vlad shakes the ancient Vampire's hand, "Ah good old memories, so what brings you to this place Sir Aldrich Camellay?"

"Just the usual business, watching how this century is influencing the future vampires."

"And how do you see it so far?"

Sir Camellay made a disgusted face, "Hideous, like they are trying to be like human beings and this stupid things they call...'mobile phones'."

Vlad laughed at this, refusing to tell about his son's lifestyle, "Yeah, how stupid."

"So, what brings you here Vladimir...another chance of Zinging with a lady?" Vlad wanted to say, that he already had his fair share throughout the few days. But just to keep the ancient vampire in a good mood, he nodded. Sir Camellay wanted to invite his old friend to the dinner party, as Norris entered the room, "Obviously you don't get the message!" Furious and yet trying to be friendly to the ancient vampire, he ordered Vlad to leave the hotel at once. For Sir Camellay a bad sign, "And why shall he leave? What is the meaning of this Norris?"

"I am sorry to bother you with this, but they caused some trouble t the hunt ball."

Aldrich couldn't care less, "Like you haven't caused a scene on the night you entered the hunt ball. You almost lost your darling wife that day, just because you called her an average beauty."

"I was young"

Vlad interrupted, "So is my son..." he leaned into Sir Camellay,"...and besides, he has his eyes on someone."

"Your son? The prince of darkness? The last time I saw your son, was when he came over whining about a lousy nightmare." Drac's father just waved it off, "He has changed and he is now a very famous vampire of his time."

"In that case, I shall see him at the dinner party. Can this be arranged Norris?"

My father knew he had no choice but to obey, "Consider it done Sir." This will be a long night for him to endure. Vlad wasn't aware of what happened, excusing himself from his old friend. He needed to talk to his son. Dracula was about to leave his room, as his father has walked down the corridor. Instead of feeling pleased, he demanded an explanation from Norri's current outburst. Drac made it short, keeping a few details to himself. "I see, well never mind that, we are invited to the arty by one of the ancient vampires"

Drac looked surprised, "Which one?"

Vlad grinned, "You met him before as a child, Sir Aldrich Camellay." For his son, not a good sing to hear. He never liked this vampire, not even as a kid, "I don't think it is such a good idea."

"How come?"

"Dad, you know exactly how obsessed he is with keeping the traditions up. He wouldn't be pleased to hear of us interfering with humans."

This got Vlad thinking, "That is why you should make a good impression on him. Mavis and Jonny should leave the hotel before the ancient vampire gets their hands on him."

Drac had to chuckle, "Believe me, his body odor is strong enough to keep them away."

Vlad though otherwise, "Remember we talk about ancient vampires, they aren't picky, as long as the blood it warm and fresh." But what matters the most, was the plan to get Drac and me together. Vlad decided to pay his old friend a visit, arranging everything to Drac's advantage. All he asked of him is to not screw up the night again, showing himself from his best side. Drac had no choice and obeyed. Once his father left his room, he went over to his daughter. Informing her about the situation, he face turned sad, "It won't work Dad. Please don't go." As much as she likes me, her family's safety comes first. Drac held her close, "We were invited by the ancient vampire and I can't refuse him." Drac asked Jonny to call Anastasia and Franky to pick them up, promising them that he and Vlad will be fine." Mavis heard these words before, not feeling well, "Call me later, so I know everything is alright."

"You have my word honey bat."
