Oh, the complexity of the mind harrows,

The unseen thoughts leave damage for the dead

The echoes of what once was, like footprints in time,

Dull and lifeless, black and white, for evermore,

Striking emotions of dread and sorrow,

Casting thyself in curtains of emotions

The emotions so low and cold behold

The wave of terror that is to come, 'til

The opposite of terror comes to be

A feeling of wonderous joyishness, comes light

('ere the colors come like rainbows like ne'er before)

A breath of fresh air fills thyne lungs with life:

Complexities of the mind remove thyselves

Sorrow, terror leave thy mind; yes, once more!
