Spiraling in a wave of emotions
Not knowing how to control the motions
Swinging back and forth between fine and okay
A constant cycle that's never ending
My room representing my mind
A constant mess
My mind is a wreck
Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia
At an all time high
I'm doing my best to get through it
Slowly trying to get better
Taking one day at a time
There have been setbacks
All because of certain people
Always ruining it when things are good
I just got to get through it
This semester and the next
Then I graduate
And I hopefully
move out soon after it
Where I want to live
I know my family won't like it
To be honest,
Do they really think I'd want to live near "home"
After everything that happened?
Also I can't afford it
It's laughable for them to think everything's okay
When it's not
It never will be
I am broken and still trying to hear
It's taking longer than I expected it to
The hard truth is that I'm not happy
I am fucking miserable
I have scars that are invisible to the naked eye
Only scars I can see and feel
It's a wound festering
Eating away at my brain
Making me feel as if I'm mentally ill
Wasting away and pretending
That I'm alright with a smile on my face
