" I promise to always remember you. "
Faith stood by the table that Pamela Perkins was laying on. She looked the same as she always did. Her long beautiful strawberry blonde hair cascaded past her still pale round face. Except for the faint bruises and blood marring her beauty. She stroked the dead woman's face with her shaking fingers and leaned down to press a gentle kiss on her still warm unmoving lips.
" I'm so sorry, Pammy. Please forgive me. "
" I promise to always protect you. "
DuBuis gently lifted his silent husband from the hospital's manual wheelchair and tenderly placed him in the passenger seat of DuBuis's car. Luci and Sol sat in the backseat, still holding hands. Sol tentatively reached out and wiped a trace of tears from Luci's face and she softly smiled at him. " It's gonna be ok, Luce," he whispered in her ear.
DuBuis kissed Spencer atop his head and then went to over to climb into the driver's seat. Spencer looked at his husband and whispered," I love you. I'll do anything for you. "
DuBuis said," I love you too. I'm sorry I wasn't there. "
" I promise to always care for you. "
Richard sat by the ICU bedside of a sleeping Nigel. Richard's face was pensive as he stared down at the younger man's bruised and swollen face with its one sided disfigurement. He lovingly stroked Nigel's face. " I'm sorry. I should not have had you come out tonight. I'm sorry. "
Nigel murmured in his slumber," I love you. "
" I promise you will never escape me. "
Skip Sands lay beside his live in lover Kris Keller in their bed as she slept peacefully. He was looking and smiling at the pictures he had taken of Spencer that night.
He could not wait for their next encounter.
His smile grew wider and colder.
