I have had my accountant do my books and I am afraid that I really don't have the availability of funds to take on another staff member at the restaurant. So I'm afraid your position as assistant manager is a no go right now. Perhaps in the future when things change in certain regards.

Joe: Oh so you are going back to work for that stuffy lawyer that was in your hospital room. Saw him in the paper a while back receiving some such boring award or other. I do hope you are not barking up the wrong street with that one. He is straight you know. And looks deadly boring.
Nigel: Wouldn't you like to know my plans? And as for my former employer don't judge him by his three piece suit, sweater vest and wingtips. You might be pleasantly surprised.
