Theodore Rochester: Sure. I guess. When do I leave?
Lorraine: So eager to escape the nest lol. Aren't you? You're not half as eager to leave as I am to see you gone. Once you're not here half the valuables won't be at risk from you just stumbling around and falling. Your father was right. I should have aborted you. But you finally may come in handy. I need to touch base with your annoying uncle. You know I hate that. I need to come up with the perfect cover story. And I suppose you need to be in school. Barrington Academy should work.
Theodore: The Doctor is ok with me going away?
Lorraine: Of course he is. Your father hates you. Always has. We would have sent you to boarding school but couldn't justify spending the money on you. You do realize at eighteen you are on your own right? No trust fund. You pay your own college. I doubt you will ever be a success at anything you choose to do. Although I am not completely unreasonable. If you find me something particularly juicy I'll discreetly give you 50,000 dollars when you turn eighteen. But only on those terms.
Theodore: What if I can't find out anything , Lorraine?
Lorraine: Then , my stupid little son , your next home will be with your grandmother. And she hates you even more. Do not fail. But you probably will.
