Blinded By Feelings++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Author's POV
"Jimin!" He breathlessly whispered when he saw the palace hall. It seemed like he had been running for hours but he still didn't reach his husband's room. It frightened him, all of the visions of the worst thing that could happen entered his mind rapidly and it didn't help.
He was scared for his dear life.
Scared to lose his husband.
To lose the one he despised.
He clenched his hand tightly as his eyes began to cloud. Anxiety was taking too much of him and he never knew he could feel all of these before. He wasn't even scared in a war. And yet, he felt as if he was ready to fight all he might if things went south. Of course, he didn't hope anything bad would happen, but as much as he wanted to deny it, there was a chance that the culprit also tried to kill Jimin.
Just like how they tried to kill him that night.
And seeing that he was checking up on Hieora earlier, it was a perfect timing to avert the attention as the culprit sneaked into the palace. He could only hope... Nothing happened. Hell, he would beg for his life just to assure it. His breath hitched by the time he entered the palace hall as he looked around, not knowing where Jimin's room might be. He knew it could not be far but there were too many rooms to the point he didn't even know where to start.
His eyes landed on a court lady that was carrying something in his hands, it seemed like a ceramic bottle. But he didn't care enough to know what was inside it.
He rushed to her, catching her off guard. "Where..." He whispered, barely able to perform a word as his chest didn't stop moving fast. "Where is Jimin's room?!" He yelled helplessly, couldn't contain his patience anymore as he started to shake the court lady. Ignoring how shocked she looked, he just wanted his answer.
"I-in that direction, Your Grace." She spoke and pointed out her hand to the northeast as Jeongguk let her go and sprinted toward the direction without wasting any time, completely oblivious to his surroundings. What was important now was to save Jimin before it was too late. The rest could wait.
He was quick to reach the room, unable to slow down anymore as his heart beated accelerated drastically. Without thinking much, he pushed himself in, preparing for the worst consequences.
Only to freeze when he saw nothing.
And when he said nothing, it meant nothing. There was no one in Jimin's room, not even the owner itself. Everything looked neat and new. "Where is he?! Jimin!" He freaked out and looked around. The older one should be in here! It was impossible to say he was outside if the older one left a long time ago! Did he get kidnapped?! Jeongguk's back shivered at the last thought. That was a nightmare.
"Jimin-"
"Jeongguk, what's wrong?"
His head snapped at the voice, looking over where it came from. There, Jimin stood by the door, confusion all over his face as Jeongguk immediately scampered to him. "Where have you been?!" He shouted angrily, moving on forward to grab Jimin's gujangbok by the neck. He was almost losing his mind over the older and he was pissed to know he worried over nothing. Of course, it wasn't Jimin's fault. Jeongguk knew that but he rather misdirected his anger than being thankful nothing had happened.
