A Dead Man++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Author's POV
A grunt was the first sound that left Taehyung's mouth as he was strolling down the corridor, but in a matter of seconds, he was yanked harshly to the wall with a man glaring over him.
“J-Jeongguk!” He stuttered, not expecting this as the younger stood at the same height as him. The collar around his neck was strangling him tightly, not letting him breathe properly. “W-what a… are you.. d-doing?” He barely whispered, unable to perform a word as he felt a lump stuck in his throat. His hand instinctively went to hold Jeongguk's hands, begging to be let go.
“You think just because you’re a prince, you can do whatever you like?” The crown prince asked coldly, staring at his struggling brother with no remorse or guilty feelings.
He then, without hesitation, dragged his older brother, letting a few servants pass them, eyed in terror at what he was doing. Taehyung wriggled his hand, wanting to let go. He wasn't ready for the attack. Thus, he was surprised and panicked when the oxygen barely reached his lungs. He never saw Jeongguk this mad, that too at him. And not once did he think the younger one would choke him like a dog in front of the public. That, too, without specific reason.
He opened his mouth, about to ask where Jeongguk was taking him, but another yelp left his mouth when the younger yanked him on the floor. He fell with a grunt, gaining his composure almost immediately as his hand rubbed his neck that was aching badly. He looked around and noticed that he was in his room, and Jeongguk was staring at him with dark eyes.
“Stay away from Jimin.” The crown prince emphasized coldly, eyes still remained on the older brother as he watched Taehyung scrunched his nose in confusion. He poked his tongue, annoyed by the fake acting. Did Taehyung think he was stupid?
“For what? What did I do?”
Jeongguk clenched his jaw at that. It seemed like Taehyung really took him as a brainless person. The audacity… “You really thought Jimin won't tell me? About what you did to him?” He questioned with a bitter chuckle, the kind of bitter where it was unpleasant to hear.
“I didn't-”
“You still have the courage to deny what you have done?!” Jeongguk yelled, strolling over Taehyung as he yanked the older man by his collar again. But this time, he was extremely furious. He expected Taehyung to admit what he did and apologize or even- just acknowledge that it was his doing. But the man instead chose to continue acting dumb as if it would make any better for them.
“What exactly did I do, Jeongguk?” Taehyung asked innocently, and Jeongguk scoffed as he let go of the man and looked away. He badly wanted to punch that face. He didn't know how long it would be until he really let his body do the work. Like a mother, like a son. Both of them were fucking hypocrite. Didn't they get tired of doing that? He felt so betrayed by his own brother.
He froze in his place when his doe's eyes landed on something, something a bit too familiar for him to forget. He furrowed his eyebrows and bent over, letting his hand reach under Taehyung's bed before standing up straight. He stared at the Talbak in his hands…
He rolled his eyes with a chuckle, shaking his head as he turned around to face his older brother with a hint of denial clouding his face. He watched Taehyung widen his eyes at the mask he was holding before glancing up at him back, looking like a deer caught in headlights.
