Leon's eyes narrowed as he watched Letricia and Mason's loving reunion. He couldn't help but feel a burning jealousy, his mind racing with thoughts of how she had moved on so easily. He had thought she was dead, and yet, here she was, laughing and loving another man.
He remembered the way she used to smile at him, the way she used to laugh at his jokes. He remembered the way she used to look at him, with eyes that sparkled with friendship and trust. And now, she was gazing at Mason with the same adoration, the same love.
Leon's anger simmered, his fists clenched as he watched Mason shower her with affection. He couldn't bear the thought of Letricia in someone else's arms, someone else's lap. He felt like he had been replaced, like he meant nothing to her.
He tried to focus on the lecture, but his eyes kept drifting back to Letricia and Mason, their happiness a stark contrast to his own bitter feelings. He couldn't help but wonder what Mason had that he didn't, what made him so special in her eyes.
Leon's jealousy consumed him, his mind racing with thoughts of how to win her back, how to prove himself worthy of her love. He knew it was a futile effort, but he couldn't help but try, his heart refusing to let go of the past, of the memories they shared, of the love they once had.
