I woke up with Letricia in my arms, feeling a sense of peace and contentment. Her willingness to forgive and trust me again filled my heart with gratitude. I was glad I had installed that distress signal in our homes, never thinking I'd need it so soon.

As I reflected on the previous day's events, a shiver ran down my spine. I remembered the sound of the danger signal ringing at my place, and how I had rushed to her house to find it trashed and her in distress. The memory of her terrified expression and the relief of finding her safe still lingered.

But as we prepared for another day on campus, I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. Little did I know, this day would bring new challenges and horrors that would test our love and resilience.

Letricia smiled at me as we got ready, and I kissed her forehead, trying to push aside the sense of foreboding. But as we headed out, I couldn't help but wonder what the day had in store for us.

The darkness that had haunted Letricia was far from over, and I was determined to stand by her side, no matter what lay ahead.
