Mason's Pov

I woke up early, eager to pick up my girlfriend, Letricia, and head to campus. Yesterday, she had opened up to me about her past, about the fire, the files, and her ex-best friend Leon, who had betrayed her. I held her in my arms, feeling her pain and anger, and I knew I had to be strong for her.

As we drove to campus, I couldn't help but think about Leon and how he had hurt her. I was determined to protect her from any more harm. We arrived at her morning class, and I walked her to the door, giving her a gentle kiss goodbye.

I had an early rugby training session, and as the captain, I had to oversee the tryouts for new team members. As I watched the candidates, I saw Leon approach, eager to join the team. He wasn't bad, but I had my doubts. I didn't want him causing any problems for Letricia or me.

I pushed my concerns aside and focused on the tryouts, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that Leon was trouble. I made a mental note to keep an eye on him, to ensure he didn't get too close to Letricia or me. I would do anything to keep my love safe.
