As I slowly opened my eyes, the beeping of machines and the antiseptic hospital smell enveloped me. Mason lay beside me, his eyes closed, his face pale. I tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through my head, forcing me back onto the pillow.

A gentle voice calmed me, "Easy, Letricia. You've been through a lot."

I turned to see a kind-faced doctor smiling at me. "How's Mason?" I whispered, my voice barely audible.

"He's stable, but we need to monitor him closely. The bullet wound was severe, and he lost a lot of blood. He is in a comma ," the doctor explained.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I reached out and took Mason's hand. "Please save him," I begged, my voice cracking with emotion.

"We're doing everything we can," the doctor reassured me.

As the days passed, Mason's condition remained uncertain. I barely left his side, praying for his recovery. Leon, Max, and Xander were constant visitors, their support and love a beacon of hope.

But as we waited for Mason to heal and wake up , I knew our journey was far from over. Lisa's evil deeds would not go unpunished, and I was determined to see justice served.

With newfound strength, I made a vow to myself: I would fight for Mason's recovery, and I would fight for our future, free from the shadows of Lisa's cruelty. I would rise above the pain and ensure that love and justice prevailed.
