I started adding photos to each chapter this way because the header media feature doesn't work for me, so go back and check them out I think it's pretty cute:)

Drinking seemed to be their weakness, once under the influence of alcohol there was nothing holding them back from fulfilling their desires.

Drunk on tequila, impulsive and stumbling through the darkness, they clung to each other, can't get their hands off— in the bar's restroom they sneaked into and in the cab they took when running away from it and their friends.

Drunk, impatient and laughing, he had already started unbuttoning her shirt as they ungracefully left the cab and shut the door behind them. They knew it wasn't their best idea and they would have a lot to answer to their friends in the morning, but in that moment it didn't matter— it wasn't even worth thinking about.

Drunk on dopamine that spiked with every clumsy movement the other made and with each touch.

"Emily..."

Her head snapped up at the sound of his voice. She hadn't even realized he had left the bathroom. Emily took a moment to calm the pounding in her head by closing her eyes, but instead she fell back into last night's dream, an old memory if she was more specific. She wasn't sure if she was happy to be pulled back up by him or saddened that it had ended.

"Are you okay?" he asked in concern, watching her from the doorway. Aaron could see she was feeling unwell, he guessed she caught a cold.

She was sitting up in the bed, wincing, her discomfort not fully concealed despite her attempts "Yeah, I'm fine" Emily managed a smile and got up from the bed. In truth, her head was killing her and she was feeling dizzy, but she really didn't want him to worry or be accompanied by his attention for the entire day.

She glanced at her alarm clock. "I should change" she said, giving him a gentle smile that implied she would need the room to dress.

"Yeah, of course..." he said.

"I should probably get going anyway, I'm meeting with the Williamses. I'll come pick you up from the shop at 6" he announced, stepping away from the bathroom. Emily nodded, choosing to use the little energy she had to hold onto the bed headboard instead of responding.

Once she heard the door close, she knew she couldn't go, she was sure she won't be able to even reach the door. Emily picked out a cardigan to wear, feeling suddenly chilled as shivers ran up and down her body. She climbed back into bed, hoping she would be able to sleep it all off she covered herself with blankets and fell asleep almost instantly.

The resurrecting of her past memories continued, causing her to keep reimagining that night, she was tired but her mind was far from resting.
