TW: mentions of suicide, mentions of suicidal thoughts

(Dear reader, with fervent plea, I pray, That this verse finds you far from sorrow's sway. Yet if in shadows' grip you find your fate, May you elude, and in light's embrace, await. If solace these lines to you impart, Then my purpose as a poet finds its start.)

In shadows deep, where laughter fades,

A soul engulfed in endless shades.

At fifteen years, yet burdened so,

Life's cruel weight, a heavy blow.

Forced to march through fields of pain,

Where innocence is lost in vain.

Each step he takes, a heavy sigh,

As dreams of youth begin to die.

In silent screams, his heart does cry,

As days go by, and nights defy.

The world around, a cold, dark place,

Where loneliness leaves its cruel trace.

In corners dim, he hides his fears,

And drowns his sorrows in silent tears.

Aching for a world unknown,

Where he can finally be his own.

But as the night grows ever long,

He finds his spirit weak, not strong.

A shadowed figure, lost in despair,

With thoughts of leaving all that's there.

No guiding light to show the way,

Just darkness reigning, night and day.

He contemplates the final leap,

To find the peace he longs to keep.

In this cruel world, he finds no rest,

Just echoes of pain within his chest.

No solace found in morning light,

Just endless darkness, endless night.

So let him go, let him be free,

From all the pain that he can't flee.

For in the silence, he'll find release,

From a world that offers him no peace.
