TW: Betrayal, Emotional abuse, Toxic relationship, Vulgar language

(In these verses unfolds a saga of shattered dreams and aches. It took me an eternity to summon the courage to pen this poem, for its theme remains a raw wound in my heart, though months have flown by. Dear reader, should you ever find yourself ensnared in a plight akin to mine, do not burden yourself with guilt. For what appeared sublime may have been naught but a mirage, deceiving in its allure.)

In the dance of dreams, I took a leap,

Your whispers, promises, I'd keep.

In the symphony of our intertwined souls,

I found solace, where passion rolls.

Yet, my error wasn't in love's tender hold,

But in believing your stories, bold.

Assuming you'd linger when boredom grew,

Blinded, I trusted, I misconstrued.

Glad I veiled the turmoil within,

Held back the chaos, the unbidden sin.

Had I shared the storms in my head,

Perhaps sooner, your love would have fled.

So, from depths of wounds, deep and sore,

Where love's illusion crumbles more,

I wave goodbye, to the lies you wove,

From the depths of my soul, a bitter love.

In the echo of silence, I find my peace,

Amidst shattered dreams, a sweet release.

No longer chained to your deceitful play,

I reclaim my spirit, my light, my way.

With each verse penned, I mend my heart,

From the ashes of betrayal, a fresh start.

Farewell to the fantasies, once so grand,

In the wake of truth, I finally stand.

So, from depths where hurt resides

,With broken dreams, where love hides,

I bid you farewell, my love untrue,

From the depths of my heart, fuck you.
