TW: Psychological Struggle, Dark Imagery and Despair, Existential Angst, Family Trauma, Emotional Distress

(In youth's dawn, akin to kin, joy springs, Yet as seasons turn, their essence stings. Each mention of their name, a thorn's touch, In this torment, my dear, I've felt so much. To hear 'like them' echoes deep despair, A haunting echo, a burden to bear. Never to mirror their visage with kin, A pain profound, where regrets begin.)

In shadows deep, where echoes cling,

A heart, once strong, begins to sting.

"I've heard it all," with brave veneer,

Yet words, like ghosts, draw whispers near.

"Throw any insult, none shall bite,"

But darkness falls, and swallows light.

"You're just like him," the fatal blow,

A seed of dread begins to grow.

A father's shadow, long and cold,

The tales of pain, so often told.

His echo in the quiet night,

A mirror dark, devoid of light.

No armor forged of countless scars,

Can shield the soul from prison bars.

In every glance, a haunting trace,

A specter's mark upon the face.

The hopeless plea in silence screams,

In waking hours and in dreams.

To flee the fate, yet tethered tight,

A ceaseless battle, endless night.

For in those words, a truth revealed,

A wound that time has never healed.

To be the thing one fears the most,

A cursed existence, haunted ghost.
