Alex's POV

Don't know how long I was asleep but by the time that I woke up from my little nap, Asha had placed me down against the wall and was currently on look out.

Moving a little, a hissed of pain escaped me. Asha turned to look at me, worried in her eyes and she moved closer to me until she was at my side. Kneeling as she went to place a hand on my shoulder but stopped herself.

"All you alright, darling?" I nodded my head, gritting my teeth as I sat myself more up. "I'm okay." Leaning against the wall, taking deep breaths, I opened my eyes again and looked back at Asha. "How long was I asleep?"

"Not that long. Only a few minutes." Stepping away, Asha sat down. She looked exhausted and it saddened me for some reason. "Are you okay? You look exhausted."

Asha shook her head, giving a gentle smile. "I'm alright, my little flower. It's just been a while since I've walked around on my own and not dragged. So, I stopped here to get a little rest." Now I'm feeling bad for having her carry me around. I'll have to start pulling my weight.

Slowly getting up using the wall for help, Asha looked at me shock. "You shouldn't be standing, darling! You're still injured and your foot is broken." Like I don't already know that.

"It'll hurt but we have to get out of here as quick as possible." Just as I got onto my feet and took a step, a wave of nauseous suddenly hit me and I covered my mouth with a hand.

A huge headache then came and I felt myself falling. Luckily, Asha caught me before I hit the floor. "Alexandra, what's wrong?"

Feeling blood trickling down my chin by how hard I was bitting my lip, I opened my eyes and looked up at the white haired woman and felt her freeze from under me.

She was staring into my eyes, wide eyed herself. "What's wrong? Is something the matter with my eyes?" She said nothing.

After a moment, she slowly shook her head and gulped. "N-No. Nothing's wrong." Lier. She's hesitating and there was a look in her eyes. Looking closer, I can see a light in them and it wasn't coming from her. It's coming from me? "Let's go." Putting my arm over her shoulder, Asha began helping me walk.

We were careful going through the halls. Hiding when we came across any of Mr. Psycho's men or his maids. This place is huge. Me and Asha kept on getting lost so we took another break to catch our breath and because my foot is aching and it really hurts.

If Mr. Psycho doesn't kill me, this broken foot will.

Why does Mr. Psycho want me anyways. And why does he said that I took his throne? What throne? Isn't the guy a human? What throne let alone kingdom will be ruled by a human?

Does Asha know? She has been here for a while so she might know something on why Mr. Psycho wants me, the same with the lights in my eyes. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Turning to look at Asha, her hand was over her chest as she breathed heavily. "Do you know why Mr. Psycho wants me?"

Asha laughs, slightly shaking her head with a small smile on her face which made me fill up in pride for some reason while she turned to look at me. "Because you're very important." I frowned. Important? I'm not important. "What are you talking about."

She leaded against the wall. "Your sense of smell is one." My breath hitched but I forced a smile. "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm have a weak scent of smell."

"But you can pick up emotions. You can smell them." I froze and my entire body tensed up as I stared at Asha wide eye. I've never told anyone that. Not my friends or my mates. So how the hell does this random woman, a stranger, know my secret?

Before I could say anything, fear and horror grew inside me and instantly gripped my heart. Moving my attention away from Asha to look at the people behind her.

Seeing the expression on my face, she sighed. Slowly turning around to see multiple men standing there with grins along side with Mr. Psycho.

In a split second, Mr. Psycho's men grabbed me and Asha, pinning us down to the ground. Looking up at his smug expression, anger overwhelmed the fear and I gritted my teeth.

"Trying to escape, my dear little niece." Did he just say niece!?
