'So long!' James says, waving to us and running off to find his friends.
'Let's go find a carriage Al,' I say heaving my trunk up and holding Athena's (my owl's) cage.
'Ok.'
We walk down the train, passing many chattering carriages until finally finding an empty one.
We sit down after placing our trunks on the luggage racks.
I then let Athena out, she flies up to the top of the luggage rack and puts her head under her wing.
Al lets Stormy out, who curls up on Al's lap.
Out of my shoulder bag I pull a massive heavy book, with a handsome black velvet cover and the Hogwarts crested stitched onto it.
'What's that?' Al says leaning over to take a look.
'It's A Modern History of Hogwarts,' I say, 'you know, the one my Mum wrote.' I add when I see Al's puzzled expression.
'Oh yeah!' He says, 'that's on our book list isn't it.'
'Yep, ' I say, 'Hey check this out!' I add, flipping to a page a reading out a paragraph to Al.
We spend the next 20 minutes like this, me reading out paragraphs from the book to him.
It's going pretty great until a boy knocks on our compartment door.
'Hey, um, can I, um, sit here?' The boy asks nervously.
'Yeah sure.' Al says before I can interject.
The boy has a pale pointed face, cold grey eyes and white blond hair that's slicked down to his scalp.
'You're Scorpius Malfoy, aren't you.' I say testily, my arms folded and A Modern History of Hogwarts lying forgotten at my feet.
'Rosie!' Al hisses at me, 'don't be so rude!'
'You've heard what his family's done, and Dad told me to stay away from him!' I hiss back.
'Yeah, I am!' Malfoy interjects.
I glare at Malfoy, he glares at me.
'So, what house do you want be in?' Al says loudly, trying to break the tension and glancing from me to Malfoy.
'Well obviously he's hoping to be in Slytherin!' I say rolling my eyes.
'Yeah, well what's wrong with Slytherin?' Scorpius says angrily.
'Voldemort was in it!' I yell.
'Rosie,' Al hisses warningly, his eyes widening.
'Well it's better then being a brawny idiot in Gryffindor!' Scorpius yells back.
'My Mum was in Gryffindor and she's the brightest of her age, and your Dad was in Slytherin and he's a Death Eater!' I screech, standing up and leaning over at him, my arms still folded.
'Well that's better than having a mother who's a Mudblood!' Scorpius yells, standing up as well.
My whole body goes rigid, 'you did not just say that!' My voice as gone from a screech to a deadly whisper.
{Albus}
I can't believe he just said that, the unforgivable word.
'I'm sorry, I didn't mean too, that came out wrong, I didn't mean...' Scorpius trails off, quavering under the look Rose is giving him.
Rose's hands ball into fists, 'AAAARRRRRHHHHHH!!!' Rose screams, jumping on Scorpius.
Rose punches, slaps and scratches every bit of Scorpius she can reach.
For a second he doesn't fight back, but then he shoves Rose back and soon they're just a whirling ball of fists.
'Rose, Scorpius!' I yell, trying to break them up.
'Anything off the trolley - whow! What's happening?' Says a plump lady pushing the food trolley.
'They're fighting,' I say awkwardly.
'It's ok dear, I got this.' Says the Trolley Lady, walking over to Rose and Scorpius.
She pulls Rose away, and I'm shocked to see Rose with a black eye and a split lip. But am not to surprised to Scorpius a little worse off. He has a long bloody scratch down his cheek, a bruise on the other, a black eye and a bloody lip.
'What are your names?' Asks Trolley Lady, holding Rose.
'Scorpius Malfoy.' Scorpius says, wiping his scratched cheek.
'Oh!' The Trolley Lady glances at Rose's red hair. 'And your the Weasley girl, Rachel or Rose or Lily, something like that, isn't it?' The Trolley Lady says, shaking her head, in an exasperated way.
'It's Rose!' Rose spits, glaring at Scorpius.
'Well I'm going to report this to the train driver, who's going to tell the school. Now I suggest one of you moves carriages.' Says Trolley Lady.
'Yeah I'm going.' Scorpius picks up his bag, and leaves, without looking back.
