I'm so glad it's finally Friday.
Tomorrow I can sleep as long as I want, since all of this week I've been staying up till 10:30 cleaning.
Nott, Avery, Warrington and I are walking down to the common room. The other three are talking in detail about something, but I'm not listening. I'm wishing I was at Hagrid's, but he told me not to come today, because Albus and Rose are going.
"Malfoy, Malfoy!" Nott barks.
"Uh, yeah, what?" I say.
"We were just saying that you'll be able to help plan the prank on Potter and the Weaslette today," Nott says, in a commanding tone.
"I've got detention," I say stupidly.
"You always have detention!" Warrington says.
"Yeah, well it's not my fault," I say glaring at Warrington.
"Yeah, but you don't have detention till five, it's only 3 o'clock," Nott points out.
I told Nott and the others that my detentions start at 5 o'clock, instead of 7, so I don't have to take part in their plans. Then I just spend 2 hours at Hagrid
"Yeah, I guess I can help," I say, grudgingly.
"Awesome," Nott says, "we'll tell you everything when we get to the common room."

I walk down to detention, my head full of Nott's plans.
"You're late," Filch growls.
"Don't be so rude!" I mutter sarcastically.
Filch glares at me, "Shut your mouth you insolent little brat!"
I glance over at Rose, who is usually sending me death stares, is looking down at her shiny black shoes.
"Get your mops and buckets, you're cleaning the bathrooms," Filch sneers nastily.
Rose and I turn and grab the buckets, full of hot soapy water.
"Where are the mops?" Rose asks, turning back around.
Filch laughs, "Mops?! I meant to say, toothbrushes!"
Rose looks disgusted, as she bends down to pick up a toothbrush, I pick up mine, and we walk to the first bathroom.
We spend the next 4 hours cleaning the Hogwarts bathrooms in silence. Well, not silence, Filch yells at us every 5 minutes. But apart from that, it's silence, but it's a different sort of silence. The last few detentions have been filled with a horrible hatred silence, this silence, is just silence. Rose isn't glaring at me, she isn't trying to burn my up with her eyes.
"Well that's it, that's as long as I can keep you, same time tomorrow, but earlier," Filch says, glaring at me.
Rose and I return the buckets and toothbrushes, and we walk off, side by side, in silence.
Usually, I go the long way round, not the way Rose goes, but tonight is different.
"Rose," I say.
I hear her breath in, "Yes," she whispers.
"I'm sorry," I say quietly.
Rose breaths in again, "Don't talk to me," she says, before running off, her hair flashing in the darkness of 11 o'clock.
