{Scorpius}

The weather gets colder as Christmas approaches.

Rosie, Al and I spend most of our time in the library. Something Al doesn't seem to pleased about.

Rose and Al visit Fred everyday in the hospital wing, until he's recovered. So do the rest of there family.

While Rose and Al are in the hospital wing, I spend with my only Slytherin friend, Sophie.

With one week until the holidays, spirits are high and merry, but I'm dreading Christmas. It's going to be 2 weeks of cold, awkward silence between me and my father. My mother is nice to me though. When we adopted Scarlett, she turned from being Miss Vain, to the perfect mother. Another reason to be thankful for Scarlett.

Al, Rosie and I are sitting in the library. Rosie is reading Hogwarts: A History, Al is finishing his Transfiguration essay, and I am writing a letter to Scarlett.

"Can I copy your conclusion, Scorp?" Al asks.

"No!" Rose barks before I can reply, "How will you ever learn?"

"Oh Rosie, there's only one week left of school, let him copy," I say with a sigh.

"That doesn't make a difference Scorp!" Rose says.

I sigh, and shrug in Al's direction.

"Here, give it to me. I'll look over it," Rose says grumpily.

"Thanks Rosie," Al says with a sigh, stretching out.

Rose leans over, pulling the essay with her. The essay pulls the ink over, splatting it everywhere.

"Oh Merlin!" Al says jumping up, shaking ink off his soaked hands.

"Sorry!" Rose says.

I pick up my letter, and try to shake the ink drops off.

Just then Madam Pince appears from behind the bookshelf. She's sees the ink and gasps in horror. I roll my eyes.

"OUT!" She screeches, "OUT RIGHT NOW!"

She looks so terrifying, with her wrinkly hooked nose, and rotting yellow teeth, that we grab our stuff and run out, ink drops flying behind us.

"Merlin, talk about over reacting!" I say in annoyed tone. I catch Rosie's eye and she smiles and begins to laugh.

Her laughter seems infecting, because pretty soon Al and I are laughing too.

We walk along, clutching our sides, leaning on each other as our laughter rings through the halls.

Albus' laughter subsides as he leans against a wall, "I wish we had somewhere we could go, just the three of us, and never get kicked out," he says.

"Oh, who's all mister serious now?" Rose says, leaning next to him.

I lean against the opposite wall, that has a tapestry of some guy teaching trolls ballet.

"No I'm serious, we need a place where we can all hang out without, you know," Al says, trailing off awkwardly.

"Without people staring at us," Rose suggests.

"Having to follow teachers rules," I add.

Rose rolls her eyes at me.

"Exactly, I just wish we had a place like that!" Al says.

I nod at him, but my eyes slide off Al, and onto the wall his leaning on. It's changing.

"AL!" I yell, pointing at the wall.
