CHAPTER 7 :
❀ SWEET DISH ❀
________________________________________________M I R A Y A 'S P O V
As the daylight fell on my face, trying to make me awake, aware of the life I've chosen for me, the decision I made for the little one growing inside me. Slowing turning to the opposite side of the windows, I opened my eyes before closing them again to complete my beauty sleep.
I was about to doze off again, until my alarm decided to snooze again for the seventh time. Turning my right hand to the night stand, I grabbed my phone, pulling off it from the charging cable. I turned the alarm off again, deciding to sleep.
My stomach growled loudly, informing of the little one, who was hungry in the early morning. I woke with wide eyes this time and shifted to rest my head on the headboard. Yawning my mouth loud, I kept my hand on my stomach, caressing it slowly.
"Why are you so hungry in the early morning, baby?", I pouted looking at my tummy as if my little one would answer.
Life has turned different since I married Mr. Singhania. Never in my life before, I would've rested so much. It'll be a week tomorrow to our marriage and the last-day of my two-week leave in the office.
As much as I want to go back and start working again, I also want to stay at home all day and rest. Even if I get easily bored in an hour, I still love to take my naps during the day. It's a luxury which I was not able to afford back in the past years. I closed my eyes slowly, hearing the light sounds of waves. It's blissful to hear them early in the morning when I wake up and in the night when I sleep.
And before I could doze off again in the sitting position, the alarm started buzzing again forcing me to open my eyes again . Aggrrrhh. I sighed loudly and pushed the duvet off me, before heading towards the washroom to get myself ready for the day.

"Mr. Singhania", I approached him as I saw him almost entering the elevator when I was descending the stairs. Seems like he was all set to attend office even on Sundays. He stopped abruptly and turned himself to meet my eyes.
How can someone be so workaholic?
"Yes?" He had one brow arched upwards. He has been acting strangely since the night we had the chat.
So formal.
"Did you have breakfast?" I asked him already knowing that he is going to lie to me again. Masking all the thoughts, I decided to pretend to be agreeing with him. Anyways -
"O-Of- course.", He stammered answering me and I slightly smirked at him, with now folding my both hands across my chest and glaring at him. He rubbed his neck and averted his gaze on the floor.
He has been ignoring me for the past three days, just because he put his vulnerable site in front of me. Just because he confessed his feelings for the woman he loves or maybe loved to his now wedded wife.
He is unbelievable for sure. I mean avoiding me? Me?
"If you are done ignoring me, let's go and have breakfast." I announced and turned to step forward, towards the dining room.
"I'm not ignoring you, Meera. I do not know what you are talking about?" I halted with his stupid declaration. The f*cking audacity this man has.
Firstly, he started ignoring from the very first night of his confession itself and then he rushed towards the office in the early morning before I could wake up and came home at midnight after I was asleep. Nevertheless, Raghav did come every night to my room to wish me good-night. I know this because I always observed his retreating figure exiting my room, which made me awake. I do not blame him, I blame my new habit of afternoon naps. Ooffoo!!!
