Shared laughter filled the table where Torrance, Harrison,  Dallas, Elias, Madison and her sister all sat. The boys were busy having a drink when Madison and her sister, Jasmine, joined them all reminiscing about the past.

"Please, Eli was a hot head in high school. I'm shocked his ass even got a scholarship in the end of it all." Harrison spoke with a smirk as his hand ran up Madison's back as she was seated on his lap.

"They knew a real nigga when they seen one. Any school would've been dumb as hell to not take me on the team."

"So conceited," Madison shook her head causing Elias to smirk and shrug, bringing his glass to his lips. "But I guess you wouldn't be Elias if you wasn't, huh?"

"That's the only way his ass gets them girls." Torrance spoke causing Elias to suck his teeth and toss a napkin at him. "Just being conceited and an asshole."

"That's how you got that last girl, right?" Jasmine questioned genuinely wondering not knowing that was a wrong move making the table go quiet. Elias didn't answer and just chuckled to himself taking another sip. "Oh...I must've asked something wrong,"

"You good...that is how he got Trinity," Dallas spoke up and Elias scrunched his face up.

"I wasn't an asshole to her,"

"Bullshit." Torrance said causing the other two boys to laugh along with him. "Second you seen shorty, you was rude. I'm shocked she even took a chance with you,"

"Down to the last second. Didn't even let her explain herself." Harrison inserted taking Madison by surprise since this was news to her. All she knew was that they stopped speaking again not that he didn't let her talk.

"You didn't let her speak when you last seen each other?"

"So what?" He sucked his teeth. "It wasn't shit she could've said to me. It should've been no reason his ass was there,"

"How you know he didn't apologize and explain? You don't know because you didn't ask, you just dipped on shorty." Harrison clapped back and Elias waved it off, getting irritated.

"Is she still coming to the wedding?" Dallas asked the new soon to be weds.

Harrison shrugged. "She didn't say she wasn't but she didn't say she still was either. She has a room here, we can see if she checked in."

"Man, don't even bother." Elias rolled his eyes. The glass in his hand reached his lips as he took a sip. Torrance rolled his eyes at him knowing this was typical Elias. "If she wanted to be here on time, she'd had been."

"Yeah, probably if y'all could figure this shit out y'all got going on." Harrison responded and Elias being Elias didn't respond downing the rest of his drink. "Anyways, as bad as we'd love to stick around and shit with y'all. We got to meet with the wedding crew in the morning so," Harrison and Madison both stood up and said their goodbyes to their friends followed by Madison's sister who also left with them.

"Shit... I'm finna slide too. Y'all think I can pull me a little island boo while we here?" Dallas questioned Elias and Torrance who both rolled their eyes at the same time.

"Do you ever just take a break from being a whore?" Elias joked making Dallas suck his teeth and wave him off.
