Leg bouncing up and down as she was seated in the waiting room, an old episode of family feud played on the TV screen that filled in the silence of the area. Along with Trinity, there was a few other women who looked less worried as she did right now.

It wasn't that she didn't know. It was the matter of how far along was she and all that.

"Sutton," A nurse called out and she stood up with the clipboard in hand, making sure to have a grip on her Coach bag too and phone in the other as she followed them to a room in the back. The nurse gave her a welcoming smile before ushering her to take a seat on top of the bed and informing her that the doctor would be with her soon before leaving her alone again.

Eyes flickering around the new space she was in. The many baby pictures on the wall, a 3D uterus diagram was placed on a countertop by the sink in the room which in a sense creeped her out. A few words of affirmations such as "You got this!" and "It's your choice," was in bright colors as well.

If they thought that was helping, it wasn't.

She would've definitely went to her own doctor and not Planned Parenthood but she didn't have one and that was due to her not setting up her information with her insurance from her job. She didn't even know if they were a good one either so that was also a procrastination on her part.

So she's just been paying out of pocket for dental and health for a while not having the time to call and see.

The door opened and in walked a female doctor with a smile on her face before closing it behind her. "You must be Trinity. How are you doing today?"

"...Living," Trinity shrugged and that made the doctor chuckle before looking down at the paperwork she received from her.

"Okay, so it says here that you are indeed pregnant. Is this your first time?"

Trinity hesitated for a second before shaking her head no slowly.

"Well then I'm sure you're familiar with how this works," The doctor smiled at her but Trinity didn't reciprocate it as she wasn't familiar with how this works at all. She didn't even know what she wanted to work. The doctor noticed her face expression and nodded understandingly not pushing further. "Alright, and have you been experiencing any symptoms?"

Trinity sucked in a deep breath, "Just the usual. Nausea, tiredness, mood swings. I really just wanna know how far I am. I have a feeling but I just want to be sure,"

"No problem, we can do an ultrasound to get a better picture on that." The doctor gave her a reassuring smile before exiting the room leaving her there to ponder in her thoughts. Trinity never even made it this far last time.

Did that mean she was ready? She always felt like there was never a motherly instinct in her body but wanting to see how far along she was, not drinking in Mexico, taking care of Siren from the age of 18...

Was that considered a motherly instinct?

And it wasn't Elias she was worried about. She knew just like he was telling her that he would give her everything and more. He just gave off daddy vibes. The way he was with the foster kids was enough to make you want to give that man five kids and more. He was everything a woman could pray for and all he wanted was her.
