Kisses on her stomach, Elias placed small pecks of kisses on Trinity's bump as she stood in the kitchen of his penthouse simply trying to ear her pancakes in peace but her boyfriend had other ideas.

She's practically been living there since they found she was pregnant and he wasn't complaining about it not one bit. Being up under her was his favorite past time, if he could he'd jump in her skin. But he definitely didn't enjoy how her and her best friend haven't talked since Mexico and that was almost a month ago.

"I just wanna eat in peace, bro." She chuckled and he smiled standing up now kissing all over her face making her full blown laugh and push him away. "Stop! What is up with you this morning?"

"I'm just filled with love, mamas."

"You better put that love in your food before I eat it because you know I will,"

"We need to find out what this being hungry all the time shit means. Maybe it'll tell us if it's a girl or boy," He spoke grabbing the 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' book off the counter and flipped through looking for an answer.

"Probably just means I'm eating for two like every other pregnant person,"

"The way you eat though?" Elias scoffed and shook his head. "Eating like a fucking horse. The food not going nowhere," Trinity's fist connected with his shoulder punching him gently making him laugh.

"Shut up, you so mean."

"I'm sorry, mama." He smiled and kissed her cheek making her push him away. "Harrison and his wife is back in town. I know they wanna see us especially you now that you growing and shit,"

"Hm...I can't wait for them to have kids. The playdates would be adorable," Elias made a face which she caught onto making her eyebrow raise. "What? They don't want kids?"

"They do. Every married couple does...It's just not my story to tell but I'm sure Madison will tell you when y'all get together sometime," He spoke and she hummed. "But enough of that...what you wanna do today? I know we have an appointment at 1 but after that I'm in the mood to shop, eat, and chill."

"We got invited somewhere," She said quickly with no enthusiasm. His eyebrow raised at that, not because they got invited somewhere but he knew that her and Ryan aren't friends anymore so who invited them someplace.

"Where? For what?"

"Some cookout...my biological mother," She spoke and it got quiet between the two as he didn't know what to say to that not knowing she was still in communication between the two. "I know she keeps calling and begging to meet me again and...you but I don't know."

"You'll never know unless you try again. They never gonna get us until we let them and yeah, they missed...damn near every piece of our lives but if they trying now, they deserve that chance."

"Look how much you changed. You hated your mother for the longest now she's your bestie,"

"I wouldn't say all that now," He chuckled but shrugged. "Nah, but she cool. She definitely wanna meet you again and shit,"

"Does she know?"

He nodded and smiled. "Yeah, she hyped. Especially since I'm her only child and she doesn't really have family like that anymore either," Trinity sighed, feeling a bit conflicted.
