Omniscient
San Diego.Laughing filling his living room, Elias scrunched his face up as he walked in the open area and was met with his mother and Trinity seated on a couch looking at her Pinterest board filled with inspiration. Reaching four months pregnant officially, her bump was growing by the week definitely catching her off guard the more time went by.
"Oh, that'd be cute. A nude pink theme if it's a girl. Have her name on the wall," His mother spoke excitedly and Trinity nodded, eyes widened.
"Right? I didn't even start brainstorming names yet."
"Naming a whole human being is hard. Trust me, I understand." His mom, Marie, commented making Trinity chuckle. They were too caught up to even focus on Elias entering the room until he spoke.
"Yeah but my baby not finna have no fucked up name. This an actual person we talking about," He said catching Trinity's attention as he walked towards her making smile and stand up straight. His arms wrapping around her waist as her arms went around his neck, Elias kissing her lips gently. "You look good...enough to eat actually,"
"Relax." Trinity smacked his arm gently making him snicker.
"Can we talk, though?" He asked in a lower tone and she glanced over at his mom who waved them off allowing them to have privacy. Elias grabbed Trinity's hand and led her outside on his balcony of the penthouse and to the couches taking a seat. Cuddling up against him, they settled into each other as the San Diego night lights illuminated in front of them.
"What's up?"
"...So it's this man...he wants to become my agent and shit as well as handle other business for me. It's something about him that rubs me wrong considering he knows my business but...a part of me also thinks he's genuine." He spoke as this was Trinity's first time hearing about this.
"Genuine, how?"
"Like...he wants to make sure my sole focus is on you, our family, and the game and not whatever drama is going on with Anthony and shit. He'll take care of the rest while still working my contracts,"
"And is that...good? Because you know me and you know I want you to get back in that Elias Cains the football player mindset and not
whatever hard ass this is.""Shit, who you telling. I only stepped this way to protect you and it seems like everything is calm now so...I guess we good."
She hummed as her hand met his that rested on her stomach. Their thumbs running circles on her belly.
"So what are you going to do? You do need an agent before the season starts or you're gonna go somewhere else and you, Harrison, or Dallas can't afford to be separated right now with Torrance gone," She said and he sighed loudly.
"That's what I know...but he also knows my father," That made her sit up.
"What?" Elias nodded his head and looked the window of his penthouse seeing his mom cleaning up the baking mess her and Trinity did earlier as a bonding time before putting his focus back on her.
"And I know she said she hasn't spoken to him since she gave birth to me and gave me up for adoption." He shrugged followed by a sigh before running a hand down his face. Trinity frowned, her hand going to the side of his face and her thumb running over the Indigo tattoo soothingly. "It's a lot of bullshit right now. I'm over it,"
