Wedding Day

Hand running over the jacket of his suit, Elias watched with a slight smirk on his face as Harrison was quietly freaking out while they were in the Groom's dressing room just thirty minutes away from him tying the knot. Eli shook his head with a chuckle and walked up behind his friend adjusting Harrison collar on his suit.

"Why you bugging?"

"Nigga, I ain't never been married before. I'm nervous," Harrison said slightly shouting making Elias laugh. "Like how I know I'm making the right decision?"

"Yo' ass never had a hoe phase." Elias started while laughing taking a seat in a chair, "You been committed to Madison since your rookie year and that takes a lot in this league when everyone is throwing themselves at you. Nigga, you got the balls to do the biggest thing ever,"

"So I'm doing the right shit?" Harrison wasn't nervous because he was having second thoughts, he was nervous because this was something he's thought about for a long time after watching
his own parents love. He was a family man. Grew up with the best love in his family.

Elias was a proud witness but never got to experience it of his own of course.

"The best shit,"

"Well, when you joining me?" That made Eli chuckle and sigh, "You a lover boy yourself. If things didn't happen, you would've been tied down before me right now. Probably with a baby on the way and all,"

"Shit happens," He shrugged and rubbed his goatee. "The way my shit going though, it look like I ain't finna have that house with the white picket fence and four kids with a wife and golden retriever life. Might be better off fucking and dipping,"

"Now who the fuck wants that? I know you and I know yo' ass not finna be happy like that,"

"It is what it is," Harrison rolled his eyes and looked at his friend that was fixing the 'EC' cuff links on his suit jacket.

Elias, YSL custom black suit that was not hand picked by Harrison but he didn't care since Eli was the best man and was going to do what he wanted anyways, matching shades as always, the top buttons of his shirt undone letting those tattoos on display, a Cartier, Van Cleef and Arpels, and David Yurman chains all layered up against his neck paired with some rings.

If he could dress this nicely for his best friend wedding, they could just imagine for his own.

"Over here looking like a drug lord," Harrison joked making Elias wave him off allowing his ego to boost. "But real shit...if she go, you gone go?"

"I'm so over this New York conversation. How many times I'mma say I'm not going to New York, bruh? Once I get an agent, I'm staying in San Diego and that's period."

"Nigga, I just want you happy and not regretting shit if she does up and leave,"

"Then if it comes down to it...her and I had a good run," He shrugged but fingers crossed that she wouldn't up and leave like that to a new city. He knew California was home for Trinity and she'd rather do anything else but have to leave it again.

And if she did, we all know he'd lose his mind about that girl.

A knock on the door of the room caught their attention and they both turned to it seeing Harrison's father standing there smiling. Harrison let out a deep breath realizing what time it was as reality started to set in that he can't go back and change it and even if he could, there was no other place he wanted to be.
