Chapter song: Breathe by Faith Hill. You can listen the song if you want to!
Additional note: Akutagawa's nightmare was inspired from my own trauma (I just changed it a little). I think I mentioned about it in my another story, but if you don't know or remember, I will mention it now.
I had seen a motorcycle accident, and unfortunately the people on the motorcycle died...
It may not mean much to some people, but people who has BPD will understand me.

Akutagawa woke up in a cold sweat, his heart pounding in his chest. The remnants of a nightmare lingered in his mind, leaving him shaken and disoriented. He tried to steady his breathing, but the images from his dream kept flashing before his eyes. In his dream, he had seen Chuuya falling off his bike, a scene that felt too real to shake off easily.
He reached out instinctively, expecting to feel Chuuya's warmth beside him, but his hand found nothing but nothing but empty space. Panic surged through him as he realized Chuuya wasn't there. He sat up abruptly, his eyes scanning the room frantically.
"Chuuya?" He called out, his voice filled with urgency.
There was a moment of silence before the sound of footsteps reached his ears. The door creaked open, and Chuuya appeared in the doorway, concern etched on his face.
"Akutagawa, what's wrong?" Chuuya asked, his voice soft but filled with worry.
Akutagawa's breath caught in his throat as he looked at Chuuya, relieved to see him safe and sound. "I had a nightmare," he admitted, his voice trembling slightly.
Chuuya crossed the room in quick strides, sitting down beside Akutagawa and wrapping an arm around him. "Tell me about it," he encouraged gently.
"It was about you," Akutagawa began, his words coming out in a rush. "You were riding your bike, and then you fell. I couldn't reach you, and..." His voice trailed off, the fear from his dream still lingering.
Chuuya's expression softened as he listened, understanding dawning in his eyes. "It was just a dream, Akutagawa," he reassured him. "I'm right here, safe and sound."
Akutagawa leaned into Chuuya's embrace, seeking comfort in his presence. "I know, but it felt so real," he admitted quietly.
Chuuya's hand rubbed soothing circles on Akutagawa's back. "I'm sorry you had to go through that," he murmured. "But I'm here now, and I'm not going anywhere."
