Teresa had an idea on how to get Thomas' attention - to wait on a mountain and he'd come over - the same thing she did when she betrayed him in the movies.

Alaynah hoped they'd have enough time to explain. She could see Neet, Minho, Frypan, and Thomas on another lower cliff, and they were all looking at the two girls.

Alaynah could see Thomas walking up to them.

5 minutes had passed, and Alaynah was seriously going to consider walking towards Thomas, but Teresa wanted to stay, so Alaynah did.

Thomas finally arrived.

"Hey, Tommaso... Teresa has summoned you. What do you do in this situation?"

Thomas, confused, looked at her.

"Sorry, I was trying to be an NPC."

"Hey, so... umm.. what are you guys doing here?"

"Just thinking," Teresa replied.

Thomas looked at Alaynah. "But you never think, Alaynah."

This was Alaynah's time to shine. The time to say her favourite quote... or one of her favourites. "I try not to think. It interferes with being nuts."

Thomas slightly smiled. "Alright, I'll let you be alone."

"Wait!" Teresa said.

"Yes... there's something we have to tell you." Alaynah looked at Teresa - she wasn't good at explaining. "Umm... so basically..."

Teresa probably planned out an introduction, a middle, and a conclusion. She started off with, "Do you remember your mother?"

Alaynah realised this was Teresa's time to talk, so she shut up.

Thomas paused, then answered, "I think so."

"I remember mine, too. She was a beautiful woman, and everyone loved her. Before W.I.C.K.E.D, she was all I had. When she got sick, I didn't know what to do. I just kept her locked up. Hidden. I thought she'd get better. Every night, she'd make these awful sounds, like screaming. And then, one night, she just stopped. She was quiet. I went down to her room. There was  blood everywhere. She was just sitting there, calm. She said she was feeling better." Teresa's eyes welled with tears.

She carried on. "The visions were gone. She had taken care of them."

'Oh god,' Alaynah thought, 'this part.'

"She took her eyes out, Thomas. There are millions of people suffering put there. Millions of stories just like mine."

The sky was getting darker, and Alaynah had to act fast.

"Umm, Tommaso, what she's saying is that there has been something that has been done by accident."

Thomas looked between them. "What did you guys do?"

"So basically, we told W.C.K.D about our location. Then... then we... uhh... she.."

"You did what?!" Thomas looked shocked. Teresa and Alaynah turned around.

"I'll explain later."

Thomas ran down. Teresa just stood there, crying.

"I'll explain it to them, T." Alaynah said. T. What a good nickname. Sarcasm.

Alaynah also ran towards Thomas, who was going faster than her speed. Way faster. He was shouting incoherent words like, "NO!"

"Thomas, wait! We have to fix this!"
