REBECCA PATRICIA'S POV

Freen is more than what I'd hoped for. She's smart, beautiful and although we got off on the wrong foot, we finally understood each other and were becoming close.

Then that party and that kiss happened. And now, I can't think straight. And to make matters worse, Freen was also thinking about it.

I don't want that. I don't want to add Freen to my list of victims. Even though she has this sex appeal to her.

I told her not to read any meaning to the kiss as it was just to ward off a drunk sexual harasser and Freen bought it.

Two weeks after the kiss, there was a big celebration at Serena's dorm. I wasn't invited obviously, but I tagged along with Freen.

When we got there, the party turned out to be a surprise birthday party for Freen. She turned nineteen and I was happy for her although it sadden me that she never told me that it was her birthday.

I knew something was off when she kept getting calls, laughing and giggling all through the night and morning but it never crossed my mind that it was her birthday.

During the party, there were drinks, snacks and lots of games to play but I didn't participate much.

Most of the invitees knew who I was and so they stayed clear of me and I couldn't be joined to Freen at the hip because she was the celebrant.

But one game in particular caught my attention and as much as I deny it, I still didn't want someone else locking lips with Freen.

When the main party was over a close group of friends which includes Freen, Serena, Serena's boyfriend and some other people played the game "spin the bottle."

And when Freen spun the bottle, it landed on a guy name Seung. I expected her to drink the beer but she went in for a kiss instead. With this guy who seems to have a crush on her.

I was boiling inside but all I could do was stand there and watch.

When we got home after the party, I refused to talk to Freen. I ignored her and made it so obvious so that she'd ask me what's bothering me.

"Is everything alright?" Freen asked noticing my change in attitude. "Took you long enough" I thought to myself.

"Why didn't you tell me today was your birthday?" I asked her, looking for an excuse to cover up why I was actually angry

"I'm sorry. I didn't think you'd want to know. Don't take this the wrong way but you're still The Princess and I'm a nobody." She replied but that didn't appease my anger.

I hated that she called herself a nobody but I was too self centered to dwell on that. I was more focus on her kiss with Seung but I still couldn't talk to her about the kiss and how it made me feel so I just went on being angry.

.

As days went by, Freen and Seung became even more close. Seung even walks her to class sometimes and other times, they just have lunch together. And this only made me more furious even though I tried to be okay with it.

It's so obvious that he's interested in her and instead of drawing the line between them, Freen is just smiling and leading him on.

Does she actually like him? Wait are they dating? Is that why they're always together?
