FREEN SAROCHA'S POV

The first few weeks in China were really hectic. From the unfamiliar language, to the unfamiliar streets, laws and culture, China just made me miss home even more. But it's for the best. If we didn't get out when we did, I think we would have been ruined. And I would feel the guilt and regret for the rest of my life.

My parents didn't mention anything to me about how we got out of Thailand just at the right moment. We took a private jet to China. Whose jet was that? They won't tell me.

When we got to China, a chauffeur took us to our new home. It was well furnished with beautiful interior decorations. The house was bigger and better than our house in Thailand. I just feel like it wasn't of their own doing that we came to china, but they won't tell me who's backing them up.

Since they refused to rope me in, I decided to drop it. I made us leave our hometown, I shouldn't get on their nerves now.

Freda on the other hand was overjoyed. Our parents made us learn one foreign language each. Freya was french, mine was Spanish and you guessed it right, Freda's was Chinese. This is her turf and she was more than ready to rule. At least we could all speak English, that'll help.

We settle into our new home. It's been almost two weeks and we were still getting settled in. Freda's credits were transferred to China and so she started school which according to her was easy peasy.

Freya and my dad also started working. I don't think they submitted any applications before getting to work in Boshoi-Ming hospital, the best hospital in Beijing. That's what I'm saying, there's someone powerful backing them up but they're keeping it from me.

My mom also resume working. I guess her days of being a stay at home mom are over. My mom is a book designer, more specifically, a cover designer. But she stopped when she had Freya. She didn't really stop but she reduced her involvement with her contractors when she had us. Now she's fully back.

Her work is mostly online, so technically, she's still a stay at home mom with an online job. That's of course except she needs to meet her clients in person to submit finished works. And her clients right now is Xiao-Cheng publishing house, one of the biggest publishing companies in China. My family definitely have a powerful figure beside them, I'm getting more curious.

Now, let's talk about me, the bad egg in the family right now. I've been trying my best not to offend anyone. Freda, I think she's actually grateful for my rebellion and stupidity. But the rest still seem to not like our situation.

We left Thailand in a hurry, so my  credits from Mahidol University weren't transferred to any university in China. I have to go back home to complete my tertiary education. And right now, I think I'm a celebrity in Thailand.

The royal family has just made me the topic of discussion and to make matters worse, they dragged Serena into this as well.

Within the space of a year, I became the roommate of The Princess, her friend, her girlfriend, a YWT participant, a winner, a home wrecker, a runaway and Selena's girlfriend. Like seriously, the world of the Royals is just messed up.

Why did they get innocent Serena involved in the first place. She must be cussing at me all day and night right now. And what's the deal with Becky's sex addiction? They didn't lie about the drugs, I've seen her taking them severally. Does that mean her addiction was psychological? It was just all in her head?
