No Ones POV
Maka raced down the hospital hallway, counting the numbers, until she reached the right one. Taking a deep, shaky breath, she knocked. A tired voice said,
                   "Come in."
Maka opened the door and her stomach flipped at the sight of Soul unconscious in the hospital bed, hooked up to a drip and monitors. Y/N sat in one of the chairs along the wall, looking half there.
Maka stepped up to Souls bed, "How long has he been like this?"
                   Y/N shrugged, "Couple hours."
Maka sat in the chair next to her and together, they watched Soul breathe. Y/N recounted what happened—not that there was much to tell. They were talking, he fell over, she called an ambulance, and now here they were. After an hour of anxious sitting, Soul stirred. Jumping up, Maka called for a nurse, before racing back to Souls other side, her and Y/N each grasping a hand.
Slowly he squinted his eyes open, focusing on each of their faces one at a time, "Y/N? Maka? What happened? Where are we?"
"The hospital," Maka answered, "You passed out again."
                     "I did?"
"What's the last thing you remember?" Y/N asked.
He thought for a moment, "I remember playing for you...then we were talking about..." he trailed off.
"I must've gotten myself worked up," he let go of both of their hands and struggled to sit up.
"Soul, that's ridiculous. You're not—Don't move. A nurse is coming to look at you," Maka said.
Soul ignored her and sat up anyway. He turned to Y/N, "Sorry I keep scaring you like this."
She bit her lip and shook her head as a nurse started checking Souls monitors, "Don't apologize, I just want you to be okay."
                     "Ah, come on, I'm fine,"
"Actually, you're not," said the nurse, "You've got traces of a spell on you. I'll have to run more tests to see if it's still there. It's already fading again..."
As she started ordering tests, they could hear running feet getting louder, with what sounded like either a voice or a fog horn,
                      "SOOOOOUUUUUL..."
The next moment, Black Star burst into the room, knocking the nurse over, "Soul! Are you okay?! Are you dying?!"
Soul laughed, "Easy, man. I'll be fine. It's just a present from our old friend, Zelena sounds like."
Just then, Maka gestured to Y/N to follow her into the hall, before turning to Black Star, "You keep an eye on Soul while they run tests, okay?"
"Aye aye! You guys can count on me. I won't let anything happen to my best friend!"
                       "Great, okay,"
                       "Thanks, B,"

My POV
I followed Maka down the dark cold hallways of the prison. My friend was just a shadow in front of me in the black cloaks we donned, but of course, so was I. But in a heartbeat she had whirled on me and thrown me against the wall, pinning me with her forearm.
"What the hell!? Are you crazy?"
"I want you to admit it," Maka sneered.
"Admit what? We're here to interrogate Zelena, not each other,"
"And we will, but first I want you to admit you're in love with Soul. Before this ridiculous harboring really gets one of us killed," her voice softened, "We're supposed to be friends...at least I thought we were. You should be able to trust me with these things."
"Okay," I said, also softening, "I'm in love with Soul. Happy?"
Maka released me, stepping back, "Yes! I'm so happy for you both."
"There's so much love in here right now," a voice droned from a couple cells down and both of our faces dropped.
"Maka! Y/N!" a voice cried as we stopped in front of the cell. The flickering light from the torches revealed one half of Zelena's form as she leaned against the stone wall. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
"We want you to remove the spell you put on our friend," I demanded.
"'Fraid I can't do that. Did you like that little wrinkle by the way?"
I grabbed her collar and slammed her face against the bars, "He's dying because of you!"
"Oh come now. That little hex won't kill a Death Scythe—no. The people he infects however..."
"Infects? What do you mean?" Maka asked.
Zelena just laughed and I slammed her again. "The spell is spread by physical contact," she groaned, "Everyone your friend touches is infected—and everyone they touch—and everyone they touch..."
Out the corner of my eye I could see Maka slump against the wall. And my hands were shaking on Zelena's  collar.
"Once everyone in Death City is weak, dying, or dead, when there's no meisters or weapons strong enough to fight, the city will belong to the witches!"
Bam! With my last bit of strength, I slammed her face into the bars again, knocking her unconscious, before dropping on my hands and knees. I felt Maka hauling me to my feet, and we stumbled down the hall, leaning on each other.
"We have to get to Soul. We have to warn everyone," Maka garbled.

No ones POV
The prison halls were spinning, and soon they were hopelessly lost. They could hear running footsteps getting closer—Zelenas minions freeing her and pursuing them. Just then a set of running feet reached their ears from ahead, not behind, and all at once Ruby was standing in front of them,
"What the hell are you two doing? And what's wrong with you?"
"S-Souls spell...it's contagious," Y/N dragged out the words, before passing out at the other girls feet.
"Y/N!" Ruby cried, diving for her Meister, "How am I going to get you both out of here?"
As she held Y/N in her lap, trying to revive her. Zelenas minions rounded the last corner and surged down the hall towards them.
Maka staggered to her feet, "Oh no! Y/N, wake up! Wake up, now!"
"It's no use," Ruby gently set her on the floor and stood up, "You'll have to use me."
Maka groaned, but caught her as she transformed.
"Remember—both eyes open, exhale slowly, and squeeze the trigger,"
                     Bang!
One witch dropped, then another, then another.
                     "You're doing it!"
"I'm doing it! This isn't so—" Maka was cut off as a hand grabbed her ponytail from behind and tipped her head back. But before her attacker or she could make a move, his grip slacked and he dropped. Maka turned to see Soul, his arm blade still held out in front of him.
"What the hell is going on?!"
