Mallory's pov:
As I pack my bag, my parents walk in my room. I look up at them, confused as they seem concerned.
"We are driving you to school today." My mother remarks.
What?! No!
"What? Why?" I question.
"We have a meeting with some old friends and their daughters go to the school too." My father states.
I roll my eyes, grabbing breakfast and eating it as I sit in my dads car. I better not have to stand around for ages.
My dad pulls into an empty space and parks the car. In synchronisation, both my mum and dad step out at the same time. I follow in their suite and walk behind them.
Keeping my head down as I don't want to draw any attention. Despite the fact that my dad is wearing an insanely formal black and white suit.
"Zachary!" My dad exclaims as he brings this man in with a hug.
Who's Zachary?
"Hello, Elizabeth. Long time no see." My mother formally greets.
"Hey, girllll!!!! How you been, we need a catchup!" The black haired women excitedly yells.
"Of course." My mother replies with a small smile.
Awkwarddddd.
I have no idea who any of these people are.
"Is Mallory here?" Zachary questions.
I walk out beside my dad and stand next to him.
"The one and only." I mutter.
He laughs.
"I bet you don't remember me, do you?" The black haired man asks.
"Not one bit." I reply.
"Mallory, be nice." My mother prods me from the side.
I roll my eyes.
"No, bother! I wonder if you will remember these little things...." Zachary says as he moves to the side. Revealing two girls. One shorter and younger with black hair and a section covering half her face.
She seems like a pleasure.
The other girl. She's taller, but not by much. She has blue eyes and blonde hair. Wait. Isn't she friends with Maeve? What's her name. Daisy? No. Daphne? No. Di-
"This is Diana! She's the oldest. Same age as you, Mallory." He reveals. Pointing in the direction of the blue-eyed blonde. She gives a smile.
I nod in return.
"This is Ziana! Youngest, of course. She's only a year younger, so she won't miss Diana too much!!" Zachary chuckles.
I nod again.
"Lastly. My beautiful wife, Elizabeth!" He praises.
I send a half smile her way as she quickly jumps forward and consumes me in a hug.
Oh. Uhm. What do I do.
"Uh, I'm not really a hugger." I mumble.
She let's go.
"Sorry! You have grown so much, Mallory! I remember when you and little Di Di, Zi Zi, and MaeMae would all play together!" She squeals in a high-pitched voice.
Wait. MaeMae? Isn't that Maeve's nickname?
"Hang on. Maeve? As in Maeve Harley?" I question in a harsh tone.
